Just a short walk from the parking area down a well marked trail is a beautiful beach where dogs can romp and play in the Gulf of Mexico. When we visited the tide was in so we had to wade through knee deep water to get to the beach, but it was worth it. The beach is clean and the... More

Here is a beach where dogs can play in the water and in the sand while off the leash. We visited several times and each time there were at least 15-20 dogs in attendance, all of them well-behaved and no aggressiveness in sight. It was fun to watch the dogs all playing together! We will definitely be back!!

This beach and it's shallow sandy beach is perfect for dogs of all sizes. You do have to watch for owners of aggressive dogs that think it's cool for there dog to be the aggressive dominant dog. But that only happened a few of the many times we visited and is pretty well policed buy responsible dog owners.

We stopped by on the only sunny day of our recent trip. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon. At first I was a little let down because you have to wade thru a little water and walk thru a little forest to get to the beach. But when you get to the beach you begin to see all these dogs... More

Our the most favorit beach for fun to watch happy dogs. They behave just like kids, enjoying playing on the beach and in the water. While we don't have our own dog, this beach is especially entertaining for us :-), while on the vacation.

Pros: Dog way Happy! Fresh water available. Pretty clean for a dog beach, they had bags. Next to a facility to get changed in. Fairly empty the day were there. Cons: Parking pretty far away, larger dogs off leash were a little aggressive.

My dogs love playing with the other dogs. The beach is fairly well kept up. There is a shower to wash your dog down too.

We were warned about the potential for high water; when we visited the water was, at most, ankle deep in one small area on our way down to the beach area. The beach - a long stretch, but not very deep, was clean and shallow for a long way out. Our dog had a Great time! Quite a lot of... More

The only area we saw for the dog had a lot of water, but no real beach area for the family. We had to walk through ankle high water to get there and that was not good for our shoes. We didn't stay long because we got tired of standing while the dog played. If you do bring your dog... More
