Times Square is a fun area. Starting at 1:00 in the afternoon until 10:00, you can listen to music and dance. That’s our favorite time. Time Square starts early with most cafes serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We haven’t had a bad meal. On Friday and Saturday nights you have Sunset Celebration. A band will perform at the clock on Time Square starting at sundown until 10:00. You can dance or just listen to the music. There are also several local shops, ice cream, fudge and henna tattoos. Or you can enjoy a walk on the pier.

Love this place!! Live music, bars and restaurants, ice cream and pizza, souvenirs, and great people watching. Right off the beach, this is a fun place to hang out with the family. You may also find street performers entertaining the crowds, and on Friday and Saturday night there is a live band in the Square from 5-10pm for what they call the Sunset Celebration. There in something for the whole family in Times Square!

We loved the vibrant Times Square area, ate a many of the restaurants, from breakfast at Plaka's, late night at La Olas to lunch on the sands at the Playmore Tiki Bar. We liked the restaurant seating in the plaza areas, the shops, pier, and the evening sunsets were fantastic and draws a crowd. The often have music, entertainers and there is a pizza place and like always, a couple of ice cream shops. Our hotel was only about 1/8 of a mile away, so it was easy to make the trip and not have to fight for parking. Adult and family friendly.

We came for the sunset. We lucked out with parking, but many people were circling to find a spot or just rev their engines to show off their muscle cars. There are lots of restaurants, touristy shops, and ice cream parlors. I liked the live music, direct access to the narrow beach, and the pier where we watched a fisherman reel in a hammerhead shark. Being a weekend, it was VERY crowded, and there was really no way to remain socially distant.

It's your typical tourist must-see. Lots of shops, eateries, beach gear and souvenirs. We like to see these places in our travels. We love to people watch and this is a good place for it. There is live music and a pier right by the beach to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It's quite busy and parking is at a premium. We parked on the other side of the bridge and walked over. Not a long walk and the views from the bridge are fantastic!

It has ample dining most with live entertainment. Lots to choose from. I enjoy the pier itself the most. Fishing is relatively inexpensive if you didn’t bring your own tackle. Great sunsets. Bella Mozzerella is by far my favorite pizza in the Square. Covid really had the crowd size down this year but our 4th of July experience was great. Love FMB!!!!

Fun to go and people watch, eat, shop ect... We saw live shows along the walkways. Music was playing in several restaurants. At night the place is very busy with foot traffic and vehicles. Open air restaurants were a nice place to be.

I have only visited here in March which is spring break in this area. Very touristy, and since it is spring break be prepared to see lots of skin! Lots of souvenir type shops, and some good restaurants. Be sure to visit Nervous Nellies! There’s a long dock that you can walk out on and maybe catch a glimpse of a dolphin or two. We stayed in Bonita Springs and it was nice to have the tram that goes back-and-forth to Times Square for only $.35 one way.

Came down to check it out, get some souvenirs for our kids before we headed back home to VT. Very busy all the time. I was able to get parking each time I went (3 times total during our week long visit) when I parked on the street and paid for parking (the app is awesome). Beware: there’s not a mask to be found and social distancing? What’s that? People were looking at me weirdly for being the only person in the store with a mask on. Enjoyed Kilwins, the pier, and was able to get the knick-knacks for the kiddos then got tf out.

Very happening place for daytime & night time visits. Restaurants with outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Bars with outdoor seating ass well. Very colorful at night with lights wrapped around palm tree trunks. Live music and always some form of entertainment around. Souvenir shops or a walk on the pier, and another souvenir shop there too. We visit it several times when in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida!

It varies, depending on the business, but I would say they are all open by 10am.

Hi Trina... Sorry that you didn't have a good experience with "Times Square"....(Ft. Myers Beach )I guess the thing is if you cross the only bridge in or out of Ft. Myers Beach at a certain time... The traffic is insane... Been there done that.... Sort to speak.. But, in January... I'm surprised.. You don't want to go in April for sure!!!.... If you enjoy beach walking ...browsing....night life.....eating, drinking and just talking to other people... It really is a happy place.....I totally loved meeting other people from all over when I was there.....January is kind of up in the air kind of month....Mostly March....is when everyone gets back into the swing of things.... April is nice... Just avoid the "kids" vaca time... then it becomes super crazy..& insane... Not pleasant....

The bridge traffic can be a nightmare along with traffic at the beach which delays getting off the bridge. We always stay at the Westin in Cape Coral and take the water taxi. You don’t have to stay there to use the taxi but there is a fee. That way you can come back via water or stay later and use the road taxi. It is a neat place with several shops and restaurants. We were there in early January and it wasn’t too busy.
Is there via shuttle

Trolley usually runs every half hour up and down Estero blvd. Sometimes have to wait. You can pick it up I block from Times Square by the Edison Beach house.
