The Salty Sam's Pirate Cruise aboard the Pieces of Eight is a 90 minute swashbuckling pirate show aboard a 65ft replica Spanish galleon. Buccaneers young and old will experience a real-life pirate voyage back through the Golden Age of Piracy and have a jolly roger of a good time on this "fun for all ages" interactive attraction.

Let our friendly and sometimes downright scurvy crew of costumed pirates entertain you while enjoying a sail around the intracoastal islands and pristine beaches of Southwest Florida.

Adult Cruise sails Fridays at 7pm!

My children (boy 7 girl 9) and myself set sail on the pirate ship on fathers day. The surprise was since it was fathers day, fathers sail for free. We went on a 2 oclock cruise. The cruise was fun. The pirate crew was entertaining through out and my kids had a great time. The sell cups for $4 with... More

It rained, they called to delay the boat. We went anyway. There was lighting which the should of stopped the cruise and didn't. The kids tried to interact and got pushed back. Our water guns were broken and they never got to use them. The treasure was small jewels and bead necklaces. They tried to dock after 45 min when... More

We apologize that our pirate cruise did not live up to your expectations. As we always say, there are two sides to every story. Our other guests love the way our cruise is run and that shows if you were to take a look back through our reviews. We have also won Best Waterfront Attraction for multiple years in a... More

I thought it would be fun for the kiddies, but the adults really enjoyed it too! (They have a full bar!) The Pirates, especially Pick Pocket Pete, really kept it interesting for the kids. He took special notice of one of our boys who was a little afraid and had him dancing with the group by the end. They have... More

We had a great time! My whole family went, my dad, husband and 2 children 3 and 6. We all had fun. It was nice to get out on the ocean and the kids had a blast! They earned treasure and got their faces painted. Short and sweet so it didn't take up the whole day. They also had a... More

We chartered this pirate ship for a private party and we all had an awesome time. It rained, not to bad, just enough to keep us wet but that didn't slow the crew or the guests down. Our Captain headed us towards blue skies and even stopped for a few minutes so we could watch the dolphins !! We had a... More

Our 4 and 6 year old grandsons came to visit. We had seen them in some pirate outfits and thought this might be fun for them. It exceeded our expectations. The pirates were concerned with our safety first, but were fun and entertaining. We purchased the Capt. Kid package, so they were into the play acting with hats and eye... More

Friends of ours had already planned on going and we had no idea. We met them for a drink on FMB and then followed them to Salty SAMs. We decided to catch a bite to eat while they all got ready to board. Then a lady whose friends didn't show up was selling her tickets. A friend of ours bought... More

Great time for my 4 & 8 year olds! My sons were both dressed up in their own pirate gear and fit right in. They enjoyed the "pirates" on the ship and playing games and getting any pirate's booty they could. The "pirates" were engaging and fun. It was a nice little cruise for adults and the kids.

We did the cruise with our 4yo & 2yo - I would say they were a bit young for it & were bored from around half way through - the jokes went above their heads but entertained the adults! They liked the pirate bags we bought for them & the 'treasure' they found on the ship!

Thank you for sharing your review. The family cruise is always a tough one to say exactly what ages will fit. Some younger kids love it, some get bored and the same can be said for the older kids. I am glad to hear that they enjoyed the treasure on board. Hopefully you will come back again and let us... More

This is an adventure for the little ones that should not be missed. The captain and his crew work hard to make it a fun experience. I have done it twice already and would take other kids.
