For eight dollars you can visit the reserve, look for the wildlife, go fishing and go to the beach. Its a great day out if your near FMB. We did see four manatees and as we left the beach, two alligators in the inland waterway....More

Our kids loved looking at the wildlife and enjoyed the secluded beach. You will do some walking here so be prepared, but they have a trolly that you can take to the wash house.

The beach should not be crowded at that time. It is a long walk, so using the tram would be recommended. Contact the park to inquire how long they run; hopefully it will be until sunset. There is a large gazebo that could... More

I have not walked it. But I will say it is 1/2 mi to 1 mile.
