This is the best beach in Ft. Myers with great sand and just enough shells to make it fun for shelling.

Beautiful white sand beach and a nice nature park to walk around. There is a trolley to take you out to the beach where they even have a small concession stand.

We spent some hours in the park walking and saw quite some wildlife. The whole walk is doable with a stroller.

So much to see here, and very inexpensive admission fee. We saw 2 manatees, a dolphin and a turtle. We didn’t rent kayaks but would definitely go back and rent them. The manatees and dolphins will swim next to you in a kayak/canoe. The beach...More

This is a great beach, with lots of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful water. The facilities were nice, the entrance fee is very reasonable and there seemed to be plenty of parking (although it is a long walk to the beach depending...More

We ended our day in the FMB area here. We walked the beach, sand was nice. There was a no swim sign in the area we were (north end) not sure if that's always the case. We came across a live starfish which was fun...More

Get on the trolley and go to this beautiful State Park. It will cost you $2/per person to enter but it is very worth it. The beach is one of the most beautiful that I’ve ever visited in the state of Florida!

My Dad and I visited back in October and there were so many dead sand dollars, we couldn’t fit them all in our hand. We suspected it was a phenomenon brought on by the red tide outbreak we had this year. Fortunately, the day we...More

This park gets 5 stars for the beach alone. It was better than Ft Myers Beach. The services are great too, including the free shuttle. The canoe/kayak waterway is just average. Not much to see there but nice and calm water.

You really need to get in the water and feel around with your feet for good shells. (Or have a scuba mask/goggles) Unless you get there at dawn, the shells on the beach have been picked over pretty soon. The other... More
