We love Lakes Park

Our favorite is the train ride through the park. Fantastic playground, water activities, surry and paddle boat rentals. Plenty of shaded areas for picnics.

My family and I just love this park. There's lots of shady places to picnic, two splash pads to cool off in, bike and boat rentals too. But the best is the miniature train ride that takes you on a 3? mile tour of the park. The littler kids just love it! No charge to get in the park, minimal... More

We visited this park on a Saturday and it was full of families having reunions, birthday parties, etc... We parked the car and took off down one of the many walking trails. It was before noon when we got there and by the time we left at 2 parking lots were packed. This really is a beautiful place and we... More

This is a great place for parties ...birthday.. there is a "wet" playground where kids can just get wet and play on the equipment. There is a train there that's 5.00 for about a 5 minute ride around the park. During Halloween and Christmas they have it decorated. It's a tradition that we go every year. FUN! Cool playgrounds and... More

Rent a multi person bike, 2 water areas for kids, get a snack, play on the playground! They also have a great farmers market on Fridays during the late fall/winter. In October they have their fall festival.

First visit here and would definately return. Lovely to walk or cycle through, you can hire bikes, kayaks, pedalos etc. Really nice setting, small train museum in park as well.

This is a wonderful park to experience, while biking, strolling,or bird watching. In season they also provide a pretty large farmer's market and it's a great place to bring the kids. Good place for a picnic or BBQ.

I really can't fault this park, by far the best in the area! So much to see and do! There's 2 playgrounds, one for younger kids and one for older ones. There's also 2 splash pads right next to the younger children's play ground, and a small "beach"! There's a little train ride too, which isn't too pricey and a... More

During season, Lakes Regional Park has a wonderful Farmer's Market. This has been my only experience at the park, however, it looks to have great biking and hiking paths and water features for kids.
