My understanding is that this park used to be some type of quarry that was filled-in with water and now provides a wonderful haven for birds, fish, butterflies and yes, humans!! You can walk the trails, fish, go on little boats, go bicycling or get wet under water games. Bring a pic-nic there are plenty of tables. There is also... More

This is a very clean park with lots to see. You pay to park $1/hour or $5 for the day (there are machines that take the fee and give a receipt). First we rented a surrey (a small cart with bicycle pedals for all). They provide a map and you can pedal around to your leisure. We rented the 6-person... More

Just had a great afternoons fun with our two grandchildren. Everything is well planned for all age groups. Our two loved going on the 1 1/2 mile rail ride, the play area, the water play area, the walk around the lake and the tasty milk shakes at the concessional stand. There are areas for cook outs and for groups to... More

We just stumbled across an entrance to the park snd found ourselves walking into this beautiful park. First a trail with tall trees and the the landscape opened up and we saw the lake. So beautiful! The kids loved it, and we loved the fact they could run around without us beeing worried. They are 4 and 7 years old.... More

My son and his girlfriend (College students) walked through the park and loved it. He told me that if I ever look for something to do on my own, sometime, that this would be great. We are locals, so I know he is used to the weather and scenery, and still really enjoyed it.

Just had a Condo Association picnic there and never realized what a great park we have in Lee County. Plenty of things to do or peaceful places to do nothing at all. Don't just drive around, get out of your car and walk around the park to really appreciate the amenities.

Love this park. Something for everyone. Great place to take the kids, grandkids, family and guests from out of town. And even the adults love to ride the train. No other place like it for a hundred miles.

We were impressed with all this park had to offer. Children swimming at the beach. Families barbecuing. And much more.
