Awesome trip chasing tarpon with Tatum. Tatum’s great personality not only with myself but also my 11 year old made the 6 hour charter very enjoyable for both of us. We managed to hook a few and land one (my first tarpon) Tatum gave me pointers through the fight which led to the successful catch. I really liked that Tatum and his fishing buddies communicated throughout the trip trying to stay on top of the fish and moving when he thought it would be beneficial. Remember fisherman- gas isn’t cheap, if a guide is moving locations it’s not just to burn fuel it’s to find fish!
I Will be a return customer.

We've had a half dozen charters over nearly a decade and a half with Catch Me If U Can and have never been disappointed. We're now being guided by the 2nd generation of Captains and Tadem put us on the fish early for another memorable half day of fishing. Spanish mackerel, trout, snapper (a lizard fish and a catfish) kept the trip fun and interesting. Making memories with these friendly, knowledgeable and professional guides is always one of the highlights of our trips to the Captiva/Sanibel area. Thank you - we'll see you next time!

Captain Trevor took excellent care of us to include my 7 year old nephew. Kept us on the fish all day. Caught fish for dinner and landed 2 100lb bill sharks to end the day with. Would highly recommend to anyone.

First I'd like to say that Jeremy took our booking at 6:30 the night before because another charter captain cancelled last minute. I am greatful for that. We have done a few inshore charters with other captains in the past, so we have other experiences to compare this one too. The fish were not biting on this day, and that someting that no one could control. We only caught two small snook and two catfish on a four hour trip. That is not the reason for the low rating, however. Jeremy did not really engage with us during the trip. I had three sons and my nephew with us. He never even asked thier names. He did not talk with us about fishing, or tides, or strategy, as other captains have in the past. He just put bait on our hooks and basically told us to throw it in. At one point, he spent about 20-30 minutes on personal phone calls, negotiating a trade on a new vehicle. I feel like he wasn't working very hard to make our experience great, whether the fish were biting or not. For $500, I would expect much more effort and engagement. I would not recommend this fishing charter service. Side note: He has no storage at all on the boat, so don't bring snacks or any personal items.

Captain Tatum was awesome and showed us a great time. Filling in for the legend Cpt Jeremy he was great. Super patient and personable. Fish weren’t biting a ton but he made It a ton of fun anyway. Well worth the trip!!

Tatum was a great captain! This was our first time to Ft Myers Beach, first fishing trip, and my boys (14/12) had a BLAST! Tatum has a great personality, funny, and played some good tunes. We took a backwaters fishing trip, had a great time catching some fish, and even saw dolphins while fishing. My oldest had such a good time, he’s planning to come work for Tatum someday. Thanks again, we plan to come back, and would recommend to anyone looking for a good time!

Capt Tadem was great to work with. The boys had fun catching some Mangrove Snapper. He was easy to talk with and not only had us catching fish but was very informative. You are in good hands with these guys. Take your catch to The Lazy Flamingo on Sanibel. They will cook up your catch. Our food and experience was amazing.

Attentive, responsive, accommodating, AAND they put us on the fish! This is not a “sit and soak” crew that floats you to a spot that may have held fish in the past. They hunt the fish down and put you in the mix. Very pleased with Capt.Tedam’s skills and passion for fishing the area. Look forward to our next trip!

Waited at the dock for an hour. The boat and it's captain never showed. When I spoke to him he was apologetic. Said he didn't have us on his schedule. When asked where we were on the schedule he said he didn't know.

We apologize, the weather canceled our morning trip and because your trip was booked so last minute (the afternoon before) we didn't have you in our schedule. We did offer to still get you out that afternoon or try to move another trip the following day to accommodate you , but you decline. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We started our day around 8AM, and our Captain was late about 15 minutes. We didn't get out of the dock until 8:30AM. We explained to them the night before that we were tournament bass guys and wanted to be put on trophy fishes. They suggested that the Snooks and the Redfishes were hitting really good and that it shouldn't be a problem. Our first spot was horrible, we didnt even get one hit, we ran about an hour out to Captiva and did some drift fishing, we only manage to catch some dink catfishes. We spent about 2-3 hours doing that with no success of catching a Red or a Snook. We went to a different spot to do the same thing, drift fishing again. After another 1 hour we got lucky and landed 2 decent size Reds, these 2 reds were caught mostly by luck as our guide told us to cast toward the shoreline and some the guys were tired of not catching anything and started casting into the opposite side which hooked on the 2 fishes. The Captain was so horrible that he took us all the way back into the marina we launched-out of to fish for the local marina fishes, 10 yards from the dock we launch from. We ended up landing a few decent fishes before "pushing" the boat into the dock. It would have been a much better trip if we would have rented fishing poles and fished from the dock of our hotel. Long story short, "Catch me if u can Charters", great guys to maybe have a beer with, maybe not the best to go fishing with. Not worth your money.

Sorry we couldn't meet the high expectations that you had on this charter. Its always good to remember that it is fishing and not catching. That being said Capt Matt gets great reviews 99.9% of the time so I don't think It was fair to judge him. Capt Matt reported to me that you guys caught Grouper, Snapper, Redfish, Trout, Jacks, Ladyfish and Catfish. So it sounds like you caught fish. A little advice to anyone booking a charter, if you want to go for "TROPHY FISH" don't bring 5 or 6 people on the boat. It limits the places that the Captain can take you fishing. When fishing for big fish I suggest 2 maybe 3 people on the boat so the guide can work on catching you fish. We can fit up to six people but it limits us to areas that everyone can cast in different spots so we end up catching lots of fish but not always "TROPHY FISH"
