We have done several lunch/dinner and sightseeing cruises since relocating to Florida in the past several years. This cruise was a great combination of both food and entertainment. The out-going portion of the cruise was a narrated sightseeing cruise culminating in a visit to a set of locks with a demonstration of how the boats are moved through narrow channels. The buffet meal provided is all prepared on-board and was excellent. The disc jockey was very talented and provided an excellent mix of holiday music, popular music, and requests. The trip culminated on a high note with a patriotic tribute to our armed forces and a thank you to all veterans aboard the cruise. This was an excellent day and an excellent value.

We were looking for a fun cruise for eight of us to do while we were vacationing in Fort Myers. We originally wanted to do the other cruise, but it wasn’t sailing that day. The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful and helped me book our party over the phone. However, after I paid, I realized that the cost was a lot higher than the cost of the ticket and possibly a normal service charge would be so when I went back into the website, I went to “order” the same tickets online and learned that they also add not only a service charge but an automatic gratuity fee to the ticket. That would have been nice to know before purchasing the tickets.
We had a fun time on the cruise. The day we went out, it was chilly and some rain came but the inside cabins were nice and spacious. The staff did a great job at keeping the areas clean and sanitized. The upper deck wasn’t usable due to the bugs that were invading the boat. We were a little disappointed that the cruise itself wasn’t as scenic as we had expected. The locks portion was interesting to watch but the rest was just riding on a boat.
The crew was very friendly and fun! The luncheon and wait staff was excellent. The baked chicken was delicious and juicy, not dry and overdone like most buffets. The drink selection, for the beer specifically, needed to have a few more options.
Overall we had a nice afternoon, wonderful lunch and time with friends. It was a little more expensive than I would have preferred to have paid and if the meal had been bad I would probably be not so happy. Luckily, it was a great luncheon, well served so that part was well spent.

Fun stern paddle wheel river boat. We took the upriver luncheon cruise to the first set of locks. The narration was informative. Lunch was delicious baked chicken, seasoned rice, corn, and ziti in tomato sauce (bland) with pudding for dessert.
Funny thing happened when we got to the locks. 13 manatee were in the lock and wouldn't leave. They can't let boats in with them so we floated around for about 30 minutes watching and waiting then headed back downstream. Great Fun

Typical tourist dinner cruise.....buffet dinner, good sightseeing from the upper deck, and a band to play music for dancing. Certainly would not expect a gourmet dinner on a dinner cruise, but the buffet was actually decent, and certainly filling. Dinner cruise lasts around 3 hours, and costs $50 per person.

My wife and I joined another couple for the Intercoastal cruise on a beautiful February day (2/24/2020) and completely enjoyed our trip. We started out on the paddle wheeler Captain J.C. at 9:00 AM from downtown Ft. Myers. We headed east on the Caloosahatchee River passing through two locks the Franklin and Ortona rising with the river as we headed east. Once through the Ortona lock, we reversed course and headed back to the town of La Belle. We had a lunch and dinner along the way and both were tremendous. Lunch included baked chicken, rice, corn, rolls and pudding and dinner included Caesar salad, pasta, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, beef tips, rolls and cake. Complimentary coffee, ice tea and water are available during the cruise and a cash bar is available. We enjoyed seeing many birds along the river and viewing the many elaborate homes along the way. The crew was very friendly and helpful during the cruise. The boat trip was approximately 8 hours from Ft. Myers to La Belle and we then had about a one hour bus ride (in a premium coach) back to downtown Ft Myers arriving about 6 PM. What a great time!

The valentines day cruise was our second time on this boat. Food was decent and plentiful. Trip was relaxing, but boring. Every cruise we have been on in this area has been well narrated. There is lots of history and fascinating facts along this river but after 15 minutes nothing more was said. The singer was very good but we felt that the trip was overpriced.

A group from our Condo booked a Valantine cruise and it was very good. Lunch was surpisingly good and then we spent most of thet time on the top deck, great views.Seemed that the trip could have been a bit shorter but still a nice way to sepnd a few hours on the water.

Took 14 on the caroling with Santa cruise. We were on the top deck. No activities. NO carolling, santa interacted with kids for 5 minutes. Staff never spoke to us the whole trip. If you are going to call this caroling with santa you need activities on both levels not just the inside one or don't sale tickets for upper level. Heard folks inside had a great time but we did not since all there was to do was sit or walk around. Had my elderly parents there that could not keep walking up and down the steep steps. What a disappointment for my kids and grandkids.

I officiated a wedding last night aboard the Capt. JP and I must say, I have done a lot of weddings in different venues, but this has to be the perfect one. The crew was absolutely the best. They made this night magical for the bride and groom and all their family and friends. The food and drinks were top notch. The boat is nice and wide and very comfortable no matter which deck you are on. The ride was super smooth, and I had to remind myself we were on a boat moving on the water. Thanks to all the staff and crew for making this a very nice experience.

As one can guess from the title of my review, accomodations were tight. We reserved a table on the second deck. We were told that 10 could sit at the table. It would have been more comfortable with fewer people at the table. Yes, there was dancing, but in the main aisle, and again it was very tight. The food was so so. The beef tips in gravy were were so tiny that in the darkened room it was difficult the tell what was a piece of beef and what was a tiny mushroom. Definitely not worth the money.
