My family recently went on the fully day Everglades Safari trip out of the Naples/Fort Myers area. Hurricane Ian had disrupted the normal tour but I feel that this company and its tour guide did a great job of pivoting to provide the best trip possible. My mom and Aunt had a great time tracking the numerous bird species we encountered and I loved the airboat and boat excursions. The weather was excellent and everyone had a great time.

This tour was amazing! I took this tour from Fort Lauderdale. Pete, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. He gave great directions, answered my questions and was very quick to respond. Karl, guide, was awesome! He asked everyone what they wanted to see, did his best finding wildlife, explained ecosystems, and stopped to point out things. His knowledge of the history of the Everglades was exceptional plus he offered books we could read like "The Everglades: River of Grass" by Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Everything about the tour was exceptional. Karl pointed out birds, telling us about them, what they ate, and the like. He always told our group where to sit, what to look for and made sure we had the best seats on all the boats for seeing wildlife and have the best experiences. When we returned from the airboat ride, Karl was very discreet, pointing out a baby alligator to our group so we could experience it for ourselves. Karl was extremely knowledgeable on life in the Everglades, told us personal stories and experiences that made this tour well worth it. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. It was an all-day tour, but the time went so fast. I also loved the lunch stop with amazing food. Make sure you try the catch of the day - fantastic! I would never find a place like it and would go back there again. Everything was awesome and Karl made sure we had the best experience possible. He is truly an asset to the company. You will not be disappointed!

I booked a full-day Everglades tour for my family in 2021, and it was an excellent decision. Pete was very friendly and easy to book with over the phone. He was also flexible until we decided which hotel we were going to book.
Our guide, Rhett, was incredibly knowledgeable throughout the tour. He pointed out the wildlife to us during the drives, the hike, and the airboat road. He also was very knowledgeable about the ecological history of the Everglades as well as the ecosystems it contains.
Our airboat captain, Fred, was a skilled driver who navigated us through some incredible parts of the swamp that we saw. We saw a large diversity of birds, along with lots of gators!
Our cruise captain, Gary, was also very skilled with his boat. We got a sense of the immense size of the 10,000 Islands along with the mangroves and birds in the area. Gary even got some dolphins to come near the boat and show us some tricks!
The whole experience was worth every dollar, and the easy pick-up and drop-off made the Everglades far more accessible than it otherwise would have been.

We did the Everglades Day Safari from Fort Lauderdale. Our extremely knowledgeable guide, Jason was a fountain of information and the van was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the airboat ride and seeing the alligators, egrets and herons. Unfortunately, we were not able to do the Big Cypress walk due to work being done there that day, but we did get to visit Clyde Butcher's Photo Gallery to enjoy his beautiful black and white masterpieces. My only suggestion for the tour would be to have lunch at a better venue. The second boat ride through the 1,000 Islands was pleasant, but we were out of luck and did not see any dolphins or manatees. Of course, we understand this is entirely out of the control of our tour operators. All in all, a very informative and pleasant day spent.

The day was awesome from our amazing guide (Mark) to the entire sequence of events. Taking my first airboat ride and seeing so much wildlife and the breathtaking views of the Everglades. Having an experienced guide who was sighting to much wildlife and dropping so many facts it never left you unaware of what was going on around. At the same time being able to take in all the information while respecting the tranquility of the nature and environment around us. The walk through the big cypress made you feel you were in a different world. All the little sounds and motions, made a short 40 min walk feel like an all day event. The food at Island Cafe was great and service was fantastic. Also got time for my group and I to learn more about our guide and his life well traveled. Last was the Ten Thousand Island boat tour, the captain of the boat was a lover of all things Everglades National Park. You could tell through all his stories and expertise that his love came from caring about the environment around him he calls home. Don’t know if he has been out to do this boat tour a hundred times or a thousand, his energy made it seem like it was his first voyage haha. We saw so many dolphins and a manatee or three. The tour ran long but that is not a complaint, even the captain said he had never seen so much marine life in one trip as that day. Finally getting back and having our guide (who drove us all day from upper Fort Myers down to almost Everglade City) complete our journey by delivering us back safe and sound to our original pick up destinations. I have already spread the word to so many people that this is an experience you must do if you’re ever down on the west side of Florida.

This half day adventure is a must do for anyone new to or visiting the area. Best part was the great knowledgeable narration from our very experienced guide. We learned about native birds, animals and crawly creatures, including the non-native python. The airboat ride on Lake Trafford topped off the day with sightings of alligators and then the live snake and big-bird exhibition put this day right over the top.

Our family of 7 did a private tour. From the time of pick up through departure the trip was Amazing. Our guide Bushman was so knowledgeable. We had age ranges from 5 to 69 and he kept our whole group entertained. We got to see a lot of alligators on the airboat ride; dolphins jumping behind our boat, manatees, stingrays and sharks on the ten thousand island boat ride. Lunch was very good.
As an added bonus we noticed a turtle crossing the road. Our guide stopped to move it off the road.
As he turned his back the turtle literally turned around and literally ran back across the road. We have never seen a turtle run like that. We all got a good laugh at Bushman chasing the turtle. Hence we nick named him "Turtle Man". Truly an amazing trip that we would recommend.

Excellent tour! Highlight of the day was the boat cruise where wild dolphins swam at the back of our boat playing and jumping through the waves for us! Marc (our tour guide) was so knowledgeable and managed to fill an entire day with fun facts about the area and the wildlife that lived there. There is a lot of time spent in the van, but that is necessary to get to the areas that are best to see. The rides did not seem as long because there are things to look along the way and Marc's stories to fill the time. For that reason though, maybe not the most kiddo friendly, but was fine for us. I don't think you will regret spending a day on this tour!

Do not book this tour unless you realize that you are paying for a car ride more than anything else. I felt like this airboat tour ruined me ever doing another airboat ride anywhere except Louisiana. We saw one alligator and our captain didn't even stop. They focus on only the birds and I love birds, but after stopping for the same ones every time I was over it. The reptile show was like going to a pet store. I had a 10 year old boy and a 13 year old boy with me and they were disappointed in all of it. They liked holding the snakes and alligator, but said that the airboat ride was boring. I told the owner I felt like I was lied to because I was told we were not even in the everglades. He gave me a $50 gift certificate and I felt like that was a slap in my face. I spent almost $300 for a miserable time where my family didn't even get to sit together on ANY of it and he thinks I would want to come back? I want my money back and advise that no one else wastes there's on this horrible tour that's basically on a lake.

Hi Shona, Apparently we got off on the wrong foot to start the day. I always want to assure that everyone is dressed appropriately and I politely suggested that if you had extra layers to bring them for the airboat ride. It was 50 degrees out to start the day, so that's my standard response when I see guests wearing t-shirts and shorts. I jokingly said that as a native Floridian I get cold when the temperature is below 70! I also seemed to upset you when I stopped to look at an endangered Crested Caracara on the drive to the airboat ride. When you asked if I was going to be talking the whole way and told me you were bored I thought you were kidding. I apologize for not taking you seriously. Narrating the tour and spotting wildlife is my job. When we arrived at our destination you were clearly upset because you get car sick and you explained that smoking a cigarette calmed you down. Although smoking is not permitted on the tour I let you gather your thoughts before the airboat ride. When you returned from the airboat ride you screamed obscenities at me in front of other guests with children and that is not acceptable. You were upset that the airboat captain refused to do 360 spins (which is not legal) and were upset that they focused so much attention on spotting birds. It was cool that morning and other guests confirmed they only saw 6 alligators. I apologize that there were not more. I cannot control that. We do not claim that Captain Bob's Excellent Adventure is in the true Everglades. That is the grasslands near Miami. This tour takes place in the headwaters of the Western Everglades and is part of the Everglades ecosystem and watershed. After calling me a liar and stating we never did the reptile show, I explained we do that after the airboat ride. I sincerely appreciate that you apologized profusely to me. I can imagine when a person is upset about one thing it can snowball. The boys seemed to love the reptile presentation. Our airboat is one of the most amazing airboat rides, even when we don't see many alligators but if they expectation is a thrill ride I can understand disappointment.

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide helped to make the trip down from Ft. Myers and back very enjoyable. The reptile show after the airboat ride was interesting (saw/handled 3 snakes and a baby alligator).. Be aware-the ACTUAL airboat ride was only 50 minutes! That aspect was disappointing. For the hefty $90 price we thought the boat ride would be at least 90minutes. We saw at least 14 types of birds and lots of alligators (submerged in the water except for their eyes!).
