Bike Route Inc. / Bike Rentals Inc. is a full-service bike shop that opened its doors in 1974. We carry several bikes, E-Bikes, E-Trikes, and scooters (Specialized, Cannondale, Sun, Sunlite, Electra, EG, E-Tek) from kids to older adults 3-wheelers. Need repair? We have 6 bike service bays that can service all makes and models of bikes, exercisers, trikes, recumbents, and even electric bikes and scooters! Most parts are in stock. Stop in and say hello :)

My wife and I just purchased new bikes from The Bike Route. Bill, one of the owners, took care of us. He was most helpful in guiding us on which bikes to purchase and what accessories might be helpful. Our new bikes were assembled and ready for pick up in one day. They are perfect and we love the look, feel, mirrors and comfort! We received a heartfelt thank you for our business. All of this took place during COVID-19 when every other bike store had no inventory and could not sell us a bike at any price. We highly recommend The Bike Route for anyone interested in purchasing a bike from a great dealer.

Customer service that really cares! I was hit by a car and my former bike shop told me that my Aventon electric bike was totaled and beyond repair (they wanted to sell me a new one or where incompetent). So, I stopped at Bike Route whom I had done business with for years in Naples, and they welcomed the opportunity to review. They took my bike and promised a response within 2 days, which is exactly what I got. They found the parts, gave me the estimates and offered to repair. They were able to restore my bike to same condition as prior to my accident for $460, saving me $1600 if I bought a new bike. I was overwhelmed!. I've been riding my bike 7-10 miles a day since picking it up... you'd never know it was in an accident. The owners Linda and Mike are true, honest and excellent people to do business. I will NEVER consider going anywhere else and would give them unlimited service for their service! Thank you. David Rose, Cape Coral, Florida.

Not only is it a good quality bike store with lots of gear, bikes and accessories but they also rent all types of bikes. They have some in a stand out front for the "usual" rentals, beach cruisers, and basic hybrids for things like cruising around on vacation. But for the more adventurous they will pull off bikes from the floor to suit your needs. Want to checkout the mountain biking trail at Caloosahatchee Regional Park? Road bike while on holidays? They will find a mid price bike to suit your needs. Your not getting the top of the line but your getting better than your basic bike. And lets face it, Florida is not challenging to ride so your bike doesn't need to be full suspension or super light. The road biking is flat and the mountain biking is more green than black.
Friendly staff who made sure the bike I got was comfortable and a decent fit. I called ahead to make a reservation, but it is not necessary, I don't think, as they literally pulled a bike off the floor for me when they sized me up. The fee was more reasonable than flying my own bike in for a one week vacation. They charge a deposit incase your bike gets stolen or your don't return it - and they give you a lock to keep your rental safe.

I stopped by the Bike Route to check out the new bikes. I've purchased two bikes from them when they were at prior location. I was completely ignored when I entered the store. There was three people working when I was there. I asked one of the employees a question. He answered my question and turned his back to me and continued to blow me off. I was stunned! I hung out for another 10 minutes and continued to be ignored. I will NEVER, NEVER patronize that business again.

What a great place this bike store is , such friendly staff, very knowledgeable about different bike for different levels.. This truly is a one stop shop.

Excellent service on all levels of bikes.Had a tune - up that was thorough,that was reasonable and wasn’t a fishing expedition for unnecessary work.They were helpful in bike purchases that would best suit my particular needs.Rentals are available in all ranges of bikes .The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.i spend six months in FtMyers and it has always been a pleasant experience.

Went in to have my bike repaired and found the technician fast, efficient and friendly. Price is very reasonable as well. In fifteen minutes I was on my way.
