Great tour! But Avoid “comedy” $$

Shantel was a fantastic guide!!! The tour was beautiful and very interesting! Our particular group had the misfortune of a Segway breaking down and the other Segway batteries were running low so our tour was cut short we were unable to finish(no fault of Shantel). She handled the situation as best she could! She had us all returned to home base via Uber. She refunded us a portion of our trip back immediately. Our trip was about 3/4 completed when this all happened. She also offered us a deal if we came back for a different tour. Which I thought was extremely nice of and you could tell she felt so bad we couldn’t finish the tour! She was very professional yet so caring! We did the comedy portion of the tour and we’re telling you not to waste your money! We paid ($20) for a “corny “ recording played over a portable speaker that Shantel wore over her shoulder. DO NOT pay for that portion of the trip. Shantel does great without the recording.This should not even be an option to buy in our opinion.This is our 5th Segway tour throughout the U.S. and this is the first time that when we arrived at the starting place, we were informed that there was a gratuity of 20% that had not been added to the tour price.All of our other Segway excursions have asked for tips, but the amount was up to the participants. So our total was $222 for the 2 of us, so 20% of that would have been another $44 which totaled to$266.That is a lot compared to our other 4 tours in other places. We gave a cash tip of $20(which I feel is appropriate in my opinion).With that being said, it’s a great tour and we had fun. Thank you Shantel.

We came from the cold weather for a few day break to FL. We were so excited to find a Segway for the allows younger kids! Most we found they had to be at least 12 years old. Our 9 & 10 year old had no problems at all. Our tour guide Matt was great, very informative as far as the history of the city but was relaxed and we all had a great time!

A trip in the rain.

This was probably not the best day to have taken the Segway tour but Shantel ( with the sexy “S”) and Angie made this pretty fun. We were able to take off okay but thanks to the bands of rain that Eta was bringing in the trip and was short lived. Needless to say we were soaked to the bone in a very short period of time. But seriously fun was had by all. We will certainly do this again when in Fort Lauderdale. The area is beautiful and is the best way to see the area and have a great time doing it. Check them out ... they would love your business and will take care of you in return.

Fort Lauderdale Segway tour

Experience was fine, however training was very limited and safety was not at for front. Tour guide did not have an amplifier to describe places so it was difficult to hear. Entire operation seemed to be shoe string operation. Don’t get me wrong it was fun but the finer details were not present. No one to greet us when we arrived and info on payments was sketchy.

First time on a Segway and it was fun. The only thing I would change is the tour guide should’ve had a first aid kit. My wife went down and she got scrapped up and the tour guide had nothing to help her out. Luckily, there was a construction worker that was working across the street and he had stuff a first aid kit should be the number one thing on your checklist.

Our family had the best time on this tour with Shantelle. She was funny and showed us a great time. It was the first time for the my 4 teenage grandchildren and they thought it was the best thing they ever did. Will def use this tour guide again.

Shantell is the best!

we had the most AMAZING no she's not tour this morning for my nephew's 8th birthday. Our tour guide was Shantell with a sexy S. You couldn't have asked for a more patient and fun hostess. Within 10 minutes we were all riding like pros!

If you have never done this, then you will love it... but.....

I have done quite a few Segway tours. We try to take one in nearly every place we visit that has them. For Groupon to list this as a Comedy Segway Tour with Photo and Video Package was a huge misrepresentation. We had sufficient training as they always do, and headed out. The riverfront area doesn't really have a ton of interesting history to make it an amazing tour, there is potential to make it interesting... however with a very distracted guide checking every message that came in on his watch we felt that it was just a rollaround for an hour with a guide who could not wait to get back to the game.

I could see how on a better (less distracted day) you could paint a picture of how this area was during the era and give lots of insights to life here, but we were just not that impressed the lack of enthusiasm.

After asking about the photo and video package, the guide just basically said that using our phones to take snaps of us was the package... uh, yeah... everyone does that. So, overall the best rating I could give is a "meh".

The best way to visit Hollywood Beach in Florida.

After sixty years of age, I never thought I could use the segway. After Jon's instructions I saw how easy it was. After the first tour in Hollywood Beach, I did not want to stop. I highly recommend for all ages, for me it was the best way to visit Hollywood Beach in Florida and after this tour, definitely I will go to visit other cities, with Segway, of course!
