First off the waitress (Tess) was wonderful.................
It was a friends birthday and we all had steaks but the chef could back off of the pepper on the outside but overall very good meal.

My girlfriend and I attempted to have dinner about a month prior to this and we sent the food back and left. The waitress at the time was terrible and the steaks were like chewing a flip flop. The waitress told us that it looked "fine" to her. The manager came out and took the meal back and offered another but we left.

We gave it another shot and Tess the waitress is the real deal and the meal was very good; we're glad we took another try. SERVICE IS KING!!!!!

We just happened upon The Field, when the restaurant we had planned on visiting was closed on Mondays. What a stroke of Irish luck! Seating was available outside, but we chose to dine indoors. The place was warm, welcoming and very charming, with darkened interiors, wooden chairs/benches and paneling. Old books, bottles and lanterns gave the place character. Felt like we had stepped into a little isle of Ireland.

Our waiter was very friendly, attentive yet not rushed. We ordered the fish & chips and the meatloaf topped with tangled onion straws, alongside a dollop of mash. For dessert, a sinfully decadent chocolate cake with pools of chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Portions were huge. Everything was really good, though not quite as hot as expected. The dessert was simply amazing...I wanted to lick the plate & only wished I hadn't decided to share.

We really enjoyed our time at The Field and will definitely be returning to try the Irish Stew, Shepherd's Pie and Chicken Pot Pie...along with more of that chocolate cake!!

Amazing Irish pub. I felt like I was in a restaurant in Ireland. We went here because we heard a popular south Florida band Uproot Hootenanny was preforming and they were amazing . Cozy setting to hear live music and have some good food and some drinks with friends.
Highlight of the experience was when our waitress Lynn ( I think that was her name, she had worked there for six years) walked us around and explained how every room in the restaurant had history and a story to it. My favorite was the nautical room. The fact she took time out of her busy night to give us a tour of the restaurant showcased her high level of customer service. We will surely be going bavk to this cool place. Try the soft pretzels and cheese sauce with one of the best pints of Guinness in south Florida.

We went yesterday to celebrate New Year. Food and service were GOOD.
The live band and the music were TERRIBLE. Very poor entertainment. We hoped for a fun and happy night but...far, far from that.
Very sorry about this experience.

I had been planning on dining at this location for some time. I had heard wonderful things about the food and the atmosphere. So two friends and I decided to have a late lunch yesterday at the field. We had ordered the fish dip and smoked salmon as appetizers. Both dishes were tasty and enjoyable. For our main course, one friend had the shepherds pie (obviously microwaved) while the other friend and I enjoyed the fish and chips. Once again the food was good and we were fairly satisfied with the quality of cuisine. We were barely finished eating, and since we had come in the middle of a shift change, the waitressed asked if she could drop the bill early. I had it two gift cards and left them on the check and stepped away from the table with one of my friends for a quick cigarette. The waitress followed us out to where we were smoking and explained that the gift cards were only worth $10 and gave us the balance of the bill. We paid by credit card, and left tip money on the credit card. Being in the service industry myself, I left 20%. My friend, being a little more realistic left about 17%. Once the checks had been picked up and we thought we were ready to go the waitress returned to the table to once again explain the checks as they related to the gift cards. My friend was confused so he asked if you had tipped too little or too much. The waitress responded that he had tipped too little and that he should give more money to her for gratuity. Now I have worked in many restaurants (granted mostly fine dining) in my life and not only have I never heard this happen before, if I or any employee that I worked with had gone back to a customer and told them they needed to leave more tip money, they will be fired on the spot. My friends wife said something to the manager to inform them of the situation. Our goal was not to get the waitress fired, only to educate the establishment of the proper procedure for gratuity. Needless to say the entire experience was ruined by this single comment at the conclusion of what was a decent meal. I truly hope the waitress (Susie) learns from her mistake and continues to be a successful server at The Field. However, after my experience, neither my friends or I will ever return to this establishment.

Hands down the best Irish bar I have been in across USA and Canada !!
The ambience is amazing , it’s so eclectic in design and as an Irish women living in North America , it’s the best I’ve seen. The food is amazing as well as the service and after having an Irish coffee , I though i was back home
I would highly recommend this and I plan on coming back to visit , great live entertainment

Our food was outstanding. We had the shepherds pie, chicken strips and onion rings. Our server Lynne was fabulous. Lovely smile and she gave us a candy cane with our check. A nice touch for sure. We will definately be back and request Lynne.

The fields is a very low-key Irish style pub. The inside is a dark room that has a lot of character with knickknacks all over the place a great selection of beer and good eats. Like home cooking you can have a great chicken pot pie, meatloaf, cheeseburgers are pretty good or a Reuben sandwich plus of course a lot more. They have a fantastic outside area with gliding bench style tables that are covered in case the weather isn’t friendly. With a beautiful fireplace and unique Decour. But you must go check out the big huge wonderful tree in the front and look for the knight who is hidden within it. It’s a very cool place I would not say it’s fine dining but the food is good The service is great and they’re also good for small groups for family affairs.
Just like the food it’s a comfy place. And I think everyone should go check it out

Loved our dinner. Worth the drive from the tourist section. Prices were fair, service was good, food was excellent! Packed on a Saturday night. Live music was great. We tried the Shepard’s pie.. my daughter gave it high marks. I had the ahi Tuna on a hot stone. It was outstanding! I was a bit nervous it would overlook but the waitress suggested slicing and “cooking “ one piece at a time which was perfect. It’s served on a Celtic stone heated to 800 degrees. Huge slice!
