This museum is a reproduction of a Packard showroom from the 1920s. On display are 22 Packard motor cars from the 1900s to the 1940s, all in full working order. Among them, are Roadsters with compartments for golf clubs, a doctor's coupe with a compartment for his medical bag, and a 1929 645 Dual Cowl Phaeton that can self-lubricate its chassis as it drives along the road.

The Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum is an excellent private collection of Packard automobiles and trucks from 1909 to the 1950's. Housed in a large warehouse-type structure that is kept in very good condition, it's well worth a visit if you are in South Florida. Along with over 20 cars, there's a large collection of hood ornaments, gear shift knobs,... More

My son really enjoyed all of the display of cars. He's is 5 years old, but I would recommend this when they're a little older since you're not allowed to touch/sit in the cars. It was great for a rainy day. So much detail with each car and it felt like you stepped out of 21st century too. If you're... More

One of the most fabulous and fascinating Fort Lauderdale experiences is visiting this Antique Car Museum which many locals do not know exists (neither do cab drivers). The 39 impressive Packards from 1904 til a Studebaker Hawk was labeled a Packard in the 50's should be a must see for anyone with a sense of nostalgia for "old cars" The... More

This place was amazing. It was like walking back in time. The history, the cars, and the people who work there are all amazing. You could hear the pride and honor pouring from them as they showed us around. I will be coming back to see the decorations for Christmas. If you like history and /or old time cars you... More

I'm not really into old cars, so this wasn't my favorite place. I did enjoy the kiss mobile out front of the building, and the model train set room. I.liked pushing the buttons and watching the stuff move.

This museum has a great collection of pristine Packards and other car memorabilia. Depending upon your interest, it can take anywhere from 1 hour to several hours to tour this museum. We didn't have a tour narrator, so we wandered around for about 75 minutes. This place will make car collectors drool.
