This library is not just for the African American culture, but for all people. An addition to the library, there is a museum that features local artists talent, and several auditoriums for hosting events, seminars, workshops and meetings. There's easy access to Broward Blvd, Sunrise Blvd and 31st Avenue.

From the beautiful multilevel atrium to the wonderfully painted circular room in the middle of the lobby, the building is quite impressive. I have attended some classes there in the past and it felt safe day and night. I love the community outreach. The desk security us always nice and the auditorium and meeting facilities are wonderful!

We went down to visit the Cultural Center and it was breathtaking as usual. I have been there before and wanted to share my experience with my family members. We had a tour of some of the scenery there and even got a chance to sin, Lift Every Voice And Sing. That experience was amazing. It's so educational that I... More

This library features an excellent source of history. Sistrunk Boulevard has been a predominantly Afro-Amer. neighbor hood for many years. Consistently the boulevard has been upgraded & this library is beautiful on the outside and the interior.

We had a fabulous treat when 8 of us went to see the holiday production of Ashanti's Chocolate Nutcracker! We were all adults but it would have been wonderful entertainment for all ages. It was only $10 but was worth waaaay more. I can't wait for next year's play. I plan to make a donation to their organization in the... More

Need to have tutors for adults to they only have them for students. It is a very nice place to learn and very neat and clean. I would have gave them a five star but they lack in tutoring for adults that are in college. Very disappointed in that.

The AARLCC was the location that we hosted our 50th Anniversary Gala. It is a jewel that should not be overlooked when visiting Fort Lauderdale. The staff is exceptional, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They made our affair a special and enchanting evening!
