Definitely would recommend. Captain Wally first lead us to some King Mackerel where we caught 7, also caught a handful of Bonito, a Mutton snapper, yellow snapper and the real highlight was 2 Mahi. First Mate Matt was running the whole day keeping our hooks baited and in the water.

Captain Rob and 1st mate Matt, put us on the fish. 6 Tuna, 9 Snappers and a Amlaco Jack. Great time! We highly recommend you give them a call if you want to fish in Ft Lauderdale!

We had an amazing time with the Reel Work Sport Fishing crew! The captain and his mate were awesome with my two children and my two nephews…we caught everything from bait fish to a 10’ hammerhead shark!! Each of the children got to reel in a fish which made it even more special. Cannot say enough good things about this outfit!

Had a great experience with Wally and Adam! Caught lots of fish, including tuna and 2 sailfish. They were so patient with our kids, taught them so much and answered their many questions. Best fishing expedition we have been on. Would highly recommend!

I have chartered dozens of times. While we caught fish and I give kudos to the mates Ryan and Matt (those guys really worked hard and were fun), the boat is a stinking mess. They advertise an ac cabin but there is no place to sit because the gear is just scattered all over the place. The boat is dirty and the head is unacceptable. Rob the captain is a grouch and asked for a bigger tip after I gave him $300. I gave him the $500 he wanted so the mates would get more. Not coming back.

My buddy and I recently went on a trip with Captain Rob and mates Adam and Matt. These gentlemen went above and beyond to get us on some great fish! They will always have our business, the are not afraid to teach. We will definitely be coming back and bringing new customers with us.

I have friends that live in Ft. Lauderdale and, after trying other charters, came upon Capt. Wally and his boat Reel Work. They have fished with him many times and always caught fish. I went out with one of them and Capt. Wally twice in one week, had a great time and caught lots of fish. Our first trip was 4 hours and near shore and we mostly bottom fished. The two of us caught 18 snapper and two bonitas (which people don't eat). The second trip was 8 hours and we went out into the Gulf Stream and trolled. The two of us caught 16 mahimahi. Capt. Wally is a professional that knows his trade. If you want to catch fish, give him a call.

Me my wife and my 14 year old daughter booked with Reel Work Sport fishing in June 2016. Captain Wally and mate Donald were amazing! First my daughter saw a coconut in a tree and Donald got it for her. Then we boarded the boat. We caught our bait which was a lot of fun. We got to use light tackle and catch the bait our self. Then we trolled for awhile. We caught 4 bonitos, and 4 1/2 tunas (a porpoise ate one tuna and left the head.) Then we then went kite fishing (our first time kite fishing.) My daughter caught a 7 ft. 150 lb. hammer head shark! It was the highlight of the day. Donald helped keep my daughter calm while she reeled in the shark. Then Captain Wally came down from the bridge to help Donald hold the shark so we could take pictures. We managed to catch 9 1/2 fish in 6 hrs. When we docked Captain Wally cleaned our fish while Donald helped us get our things off the boat. Then Donald gave my daughter the hook she caught the shark with. Overall great time!

The captain and crew were GREAT. They knew what they were doing and had us on top of so many fish. We had multiple fish on at a time on more than one occasion on our half day trip. We caught a few bonita but the highlight was the 14 MahiMahi we caught and the black fin tuna. We caught an additional 9 mahi but they were to small to keep. Thank you for making our family vacation so much fun!!! Bring your own sunscreen, snacks and beverages.
