We had a fantastic time. The captain and Dave were wonderful, caring, and funny. The time on the air was amazing. My son who was so nervous about to start can’t stop talking about it and wants to go again.
The banana boat ride to and from the boat was interesting but you’ve got to get out there somehow.
We’d recommend and do it again.

Capt John is the GOAT

Captain John is Awesome!! I rented the 45 ft pontoon boat with 17 of my friends for our Spring Break trip! The dock was only 1.5 miles away from our hotel, and we were easily able to call Ubers! We went from 10am - 6pm, and we were a bit weary, that we would all be very beat by the end of it. We assumed we would be sun burned, drunk, and drained. We started by driving around nearby canals and looking at houses, and yachts. We went at a slow speed, and were able to take pictures, listen to music, dance, and drink during this time. We then tossed around the idea to go to the Haul-over Sandbar in Miami, but it would've taken 2.5 hours to get there, and we were ready to get in the water! Capt. John anchored the boat, warned us of a few minor things, and then we were able to take pictures and layout on the lillypad! We all were blown away by how fast the day went, and how much fun we had! We all agreed that a 6 hour sandbar trip would be perfect timing, unfortunately that is not an option (That I know of). Either way, I would 1000% book another trip with Island Girl! It was very reasonably priced, and we had a blast! We had plenty of room in the coolers for drinks, and food. If you plan to have more than 18 people, I would maybe bring an extra cooler, just to ensure you don't run out of food and drinks. Capt. John was very knowledgeable about the water, which made us all feel very safe!

GO ON THE ISLAND GIRL WITH CAPT JOHN AND TREY!!!!

Awesome time this past Saturday on the Island Girl boat! Our group was a bachelorette party with 15 girls and it was a blast! Captain John made it a very fun experience, while making sure everyone remained safe the entire time. It helped that the weather was perfect too! The Company provided a great sound system, huge coolers and tons of ice and there was plenty of space on the boat to move around. After motoring around we were able to swim and hangout in the water - it was nice the boat had one of those large rafts too! Trey also came along for the ride and was a big help and a ton of fun. Thanks to the both of them for making it an awesome day for all of us and our bride best friend!! We will definitely be back! #WereNotLeaving!!!!!!

I definitely do not believe the experience advertised on their website is the experience we got. To start, the address given to us (and on every confirmation email) is incorrect. We had to Uber 15 girls to two separate locations which ended up being costly all because of their poor communication. Secondly, the island girl boat we rented was broken, so we had to take two boats. We thought that would be fine until we saw that the two boats we were given were two very old, small speed boats. Not what we wanted or expected. That being said, the captains of the boat were amazing and very accommodating to us while at the sandbar. Captain John is amazing and I would highly recommend using him. I don’t think I would use this place again, but captain John definitely tried to make up for the bad experience we initially faced. Sandbar is a great time and we love captain John, just wish the initial experience went a little differently.

Do not recommend. Unprofessional on all levels. They changed our reservation multiple times, lied and said the boat had to be out of the water at 2 pm (we saw another group arriving to go on the boat when we left) and gave us the wrong address. They said the other location was 8 minutes away by car but ended up being 30 minutes (and in Hollywood not Ft. Lauderdale). Captain was aggressive driving.

Awesome parasail trip

The sales staff were very informative to make us feel comfortable about trying parasailing. The crew did a great job. They were a little more expensive than another location but they offer 8-10 minutes of flight time where the other only 4-5. The longer trip was worth it. Incredible experience and didn't feel like it was dangerous or unsafe the whole time up in the air - even at that heigth. Easy ride so good for people even with limited strength or mobility. Even had a couple 80 year old women doing it and they loved it.

Doubled Booked!!!

I booked a 30 person birthday party boat with this company 2 months before the event. I confirmed twice with them prior to the event and the DAY OF the event the tell me it has been doubled booked!!!! They didn’t help me find any other accommodations or alternatives and were not even apologetic. I was speechless. I hope People see this and save themselves from working with these people. Don’t do it.

This is our second time booking a 4 hour pontoon boat experience and it will definitely not be our last! Booking online is super easy, and the staff is super friendly, informative and loves to have a great time with their guests! (Idk how they put up with my group of friends and the music and chaos, so if they can handle us they can handle anyone) Would recommend to anyone celebrating any sort of occasion for the simplicity of just having to walk on the boat with your drinks and snacks and walking off when your trip ends. They follow all CDC guidelines to keep you and your guests safe. Also have several water toys for you and your guests to use.

Thanks again for another memorable experience!

Looking forward to another trip in the near future !

Bachelorette party!

We rented the 20 passenger boat “the island girl” for my bachelorette party and they did not disappoint. Such a fun experience!! Captain John took us to the sandbar and cruised around. The boat had plenty of space for all 15 of us and they provided coolers and ice which was awesome. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Excursion

We went on a night paddleboarding tour and it was awesome! We had never done it before and Manny, our tour guide, was very patient with us and made it an incredible and memorable experience. Manny was a fantastic tour guide and made the experience very enjoyable. We stopped at a very cool little island and Dylan, another tour guide, taught us all about and showed us some of the native wildlife creatures there. It was great!
