Take the Water Taxi tour to explore Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood from the water! Your ticket allows all-day Hop On / Hop Off at over15 stops, and savings at restaurants and attractions at each stop. Think of it as a trolley tour on the water with...more

We have done the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi twice before while in Fort Lauderdale on a pre cruise stay. It is always beautiful to see the ships in the marina, the cruise ships, the fancy houses/mansions, getting on and off at Las Olas Blvd to...More
Got on the Water Taxi at Margaritaville 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar for $28 each. The ride to the Hilton was nice about 45 minutes. They serve beer, wine and other drinks on the boat, don’t get the Margarita it’s awful. The taxi is a mini tour...More
We stayed at Fort Lauderdale beach resort and water taxi was walking distance. It was well worth the eighteen dollars a person. Very easy to get on an off at various locations. Plan to spend the entire day.
We had company in town and paid for the water taxi tickets knowing we were able to be on the water and see everything along the route. The stories we heard were so informative and we learned a lot about our city. Our guests loved...More
One of the best ways to see the "Venice" of America is by boat. You get great views of the city no matter what time of day you go. Either sunny views or spectacularly lit up night views. It is also a lot of fun...More
The water taxi has a pretty easy app to follow and understand when and where the taxis are. The cost is a little expensive if you have a larger family $18.00 per person. yikes.... But the view is amazing! You are able to get off...More
We had a fantastic time, spent most the day riding from location to location just learning about For Lauderdale. It's really neat, each driver/tour guide knows or shares different history about houses and who owns what, so each ride is not repetitive. I highly suggest...More

Thanks for sharing your five star review with us! We are so glad you have a fantastic day with us. See you again!
Ride the water taxi route instead of the Jungle Queen. That way you dont have to waste an hour on that "island" looking at bugs while they try to sell you a magnet.
Ryan and Christina were great on the water taxi.
We are staying close to stop # 5 so access is close. QUESTION is, how often does it take for the next taxi to arrive ? Do they have a schedule like bus stops do ? And is it a great way to sight-see ?

Check their web page for best info, some stops are whistle stops, while others run on a schedule.
Carrie B, Water Taxi, Jungle Queen River Boat. Which 1? (27 Replies)
Hello Still looking into my options re things to do around the Xmas Holidays. I am currently researching the various river tours out thier and the 3 posts in the titel come up fairly regularly. Can anyone give me thier views, Jungle Queen is not badly rated on here, but forum posters don't seem too enthusiastic.....I also wanted to ask...if I do decide to go on one of them, is it worth going in the evening considering we may not 'see' much? For instance the Jungle Queen stops on an...More

We've done them all and I would pick the CarrieB first. If you go with the Jungle Queen just avoid the trip that includes the meal as the food is terrible! The Water Taxi is actually pretty nice if you get the all day pass which is something like $20. You do get to see a lot but it is a very slow way to get around as it makes many stops. It kind of depends on where you are staying if the Water Taxi would be convenient or not.

First visit to New York arriving this weekend and want to see as much as possible but understand we can't see it all not enough time - what do you think of this schedule? Saturday - Day of arrival staying in Doubletree Suites TS Walk out into Times Square for a look around see the lights, some shopping maybe and then dinner and a few drinks. Keep it simple. (Maybe even fit in bus tour of NY Lights) Sunday HOHO bus tour - Up town area, cut across Central Park on foot through...More
