With some time on our hands we wanted to see sime of the famous waterways. There's an excellent tour that cruises the intercostal waterway and you see all the famous and very expensive homes. It was like watching Lifestyles of the rich and famous. Definitely worth the price of the tour.

This was the best waterside that you can ask for. Breathtaking views watching all the boats and yachts sail on the intercoasal.

The water ways of Fort Lauderdale are well organised. We were fortunate to do both a public ride, to experience the touristy stuff and go out a few times with locals on their boats. The Jungle Queen Riverboat is a bit like doing a ride at Disney but the location is very real, The guy telling you what you see... More

We come here on weekends and will cruise up and down on our own boat. We like stopping at the houstons in pompano beach. The boat speeds vary depending on the season. In winter it can be slow going to get to an inlet but I enjoy the view and easy moving water. If you go early in the morning... More

We made this trip via the water taxi and we are glad we did. The houses that run along by the side of the canals are amazing and the yachts that are moored up are worth up to $50 million dollars. The crazy thing is that nobody sees to sit outside these properties, which make me think they are getaway... More

The Intracoastal Waterway is a special body of water that runs the lower east coast of Florida all the way to Miami. There are multi million dollar homes to some almost 40 million dollars. The sights are great. The Boats/Ships docked in front of the houses and in the marinas are spectacular. And if you take a boat tour, being... More

You can take a tour boat down this river which runs parallel to the sea on the east coast of Florida. All along the waterway are the most incredible houses many of which if on the east side of the waterway also have their own beach fronts. These houses or should I say mansions also have their own berths for... More

We kayaked along here, seeing mangroves. We set out from West Lake Park, which itself has wonderful mangroves kayaking trails.
