Was really great! BUT very expensive… $ 800 for the tour per Person, $ 50 for the Visa, the lunch is not included what is ridiculous in relation to this price- another min $ 60… the guys who did the tour with us were not tested to enter the US again. So WE HAD TO WAIT more than an hour so that they could get tested on the Bahamas. Because of this we had to hurry at the Cave and had no time for the plane wreck. This was really annoying…

Truly the BEST costumer service ever! I had a problem with the dates & they worked around it to satisfy us! They have been so helpful with any questions, no matter what they make sure you are happy with everything all around. Truly appreciate that because not a lot of companies are like this!! I can’t wait for my trip, I will leave another review explaining how beautiful the stay was!!!! ❤️😍 Thank you again @Stanielair I am very happy with how everything is turning out! Book your trip today, you won’t regret it one bit!!!!!!!

Lovely day, except for the COVID protocols on the US end. On the Bahamas end, the safety policy is made clear and easily followed by every person we encountered. The boat captains were respectful, and they really know how to have a good time. They were wonderful tour guides. That part of our trip was amazing. The COVID policy they have on their site is not enforced or followed on the US side. If it’s a policy, enforce it. If it’s not a policy, take it off the website. It is incredibly disrespectful to people who rely on that extra layer of safety when in enclosed spaces. We take risks based on information we are given. I asked the pilot if he was going to enforce the mask rule, since having a kid with asthma makes this extra important, and he chose not to enforce it nor wear one. Imagine seeing the pilot wearing a mask outside on the Bahamian tarmac alone, then take it off inside the plane full of passengers. Imagine traveling with 2 other passengers who took their masks off while one coughed the whole way back. I booked this trip with the understanding that the company would be proactive about safety, as stated in all of their communications. If you advertise a policy, it should be enforced. Unfortunate.

Phenomenal experience from beginning to end! Seriously, it was everything penny. It’s crazy how much we got to see yesterday and how smooth our trip was given that we had to stop through customs, and get to our boat charter. I enjoyed every moment and highly recommend the day trip to the exumas to anyone looking to have the best day of their lives. Swimming with the pigs has been on my bucket list for months and it didn’t disappoint. They were so cute and friendly and happy to see us! I didn’t think swimming with the sharks was going to be cool, since these types of things tend to be kinda gimmicky, but I really did enjoy it. The sharks feel like sandpaper and it’s just a unique experience. Plus, Marietjie (Micky sp?), Bruno, Kristen, and Zack (the pilot) were so helpful and nice! Seriously, we almost didn’t make our charter because my CVS Covid test results almost didn’t come in and Marietjie gave us advice on what to do and what our options were. She even sent us some good vibes and as soon as we got off the phone with her my test results came though! Pro-tip: take your Covid test 3 days before your trip so you don’t have to get tested again in the Bahamas to re-enter the US. And if you get tested at CVS and get inconclusive results, immediately get retested as they take more than 24-hours to get your results to you. We flew with Staniel Air to stay on Staniel Cay at Lazy Bay Cottages, which are owned by Staniel Air. First off I will just say that this is the way to travel. You are requested to You are requested to require Arrive only 30 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart. You are welcomed into the staniel air lounge which is modern and coastal. You are welcome to help yourself to no cost snacks and beveragesYou are welcome to help yourself to no cost snacks and beverages. When it is time to board, the pilot himself will carry your bags outside and load them onto the plane and personally walks you to the plane to board. This was our 1st experience with what was to calm and the hospitality provided by staniel air. Upon arrival at staniel key the full-time resort staff from lazi Bay is waiting to take you and your belongings to your cottage. They catered to our every need personally cooking and serving breakfast at your designated time every morning. They will even cook you dinner for a fee. We rented a boat with captain every day of our stay. Their 2 34' Jupiter's never 2 naughty Were newer boats and in great operating condition. You could tell that the captains and house staff really kept them up. Captain Bernard and captain Princeton were amazing. They both knew the INS and outs of all of the islands and shallow spots. They knew where shallow water reef systems were to accommodate snorkelling and spearfishing for my 10 year old. Captain Princeton is an outstanding angler and knew all of the best spots to load the boat with a bounty of fresh fish. He was incredibly patient with my son And he seemed to genuinely care about our experience. Captain Bernard on the other hand is a world class spear fisherman and seeing him Spearfish bow and arrow style in depths of around 20' was an experience in of itself. The staff was incredibly friendly and took time to hang out and chat with us and ask us about our normal lives and give us some insight into theirs. The staff was incredibly friendly and took time to hang out and chat with us and ask us about our normal lives and give us some insight into theirsThey understand how truly fortunate they are to live in such a beautiful place and work for staniel air. When it came time to leave the house staff came upstairs and alerted us about 10 minutes before the flight was going to land, loaded all of our gear into their golf card, and got us to the airport at almost the exact time that the plane landed. Within 5 minutes we began boarding and within 15 minutes of arriving at staniel key airport we were taking off to come home. 5 stars to staniel air and lazy Bay cottages. Both well worth the money. We plan on renting all 3 cottages and bringing our entire families later this year.
