Cruise Ship Port

It's just a cruise ship port with the convention center next door. Lots of traffic and people. Can be congested. Not pretty.

Never fails to amaze me how this port can easily handle so many curise ships, passengers and traffic on embarkation/disembarkation days. Tremendous job in handling thousands of people... These people work hard and derserve a well done by the public. WELL DONE!!!

.....especially if sailing from Pier, and the wifi is free in the terminal. A short walk to Walgreens if the need exists.

This is where all the cruise ships departs and come in, apart from that it feels militarize with all the check points.

I do not understand the complaints about signage. Port Everglades is one of the easiest ports to access. Once there the signage directs one clearly to the correct terminal, with all ships and terminals being clearly posted. Parking is easy, provided one comes reasonably early. We have parked on numerous occasions within minutes of both Princess and Royal Caribbean ships.

more signs needed to direct folks, for example taxi pick up area, hotel shuttle pick up area, uber pick up area etc. it was very confusing and watching someone yell at an uber driver for not knowing where to stop for a pick up was just unneccisary.

Our cruise started and ended in Port Everglades. We had a suite so Holland America took good care of their premium customers. But the return was a different story. Lord long lines due to customs staffing 2 agents for a cruise ship with total of over 3,000. Very poor service

We have been to the port in both Miami and Port Everglades. Without a doubt it is much easier to navigate Port Everglades. We boarded a cruise ship in no time and coming back off the ship customs was a breeze. Friendly port employees made the process much easier than trying to navigate Port of Miami

Port Everglades is the major cruise port for Eastern Florida, along with Miami, big hub / port for Princess Cruise Lines. The cruise terminal and roads are a bit confusing to navigate if driving, and takes a bit to get to the passenger parking or drop off. There is also some construction currently that adds to the chaos at times.... More

The only reason we were at the port was to embark on a cruise of Caribbean! The facilities were more than adequate with clean restrooms, wifi and lots of helpful staff.
