Lots of nice shops and restaurants on this tree lined street. It's a bit on the pricey side, but they've built it into a nice place to roam around and check out the stores. Parking is a little tough some places.

Good for exercise not for shopping Went with friends all the shops outrageously priced Good to walk by riverfront no realistic shopping Unless you like $159 shirts and 250 shoes

Las Olas Boulevard runs from Andrews Avenue in the Central Business District to A1A and Fort Lauderdale Beach. The eastern section of the boulevard has many canals and beautiful homes while the commercial stretch has courtyards featuring small shops and taverns/bars, restaurants and the Riverside Hotel. There are also homes of stars and politicians in the area...tour guides are available.... More

We stumbled upon Las Olas while exploring Fort Lauderdale. We sincerely enjoyed seeing the different shops and stopping at Rocco's Tacos while we explored. The great canal waterway views and impressive boats really made for a fun adventure.

Such a great way to spend a lazy Saturday after our cruise. Lots of shopping choices, a fun river walk close by, and so many food choices!

We are staying within walking distance of downtown East Las Olas and enjoy strolling around the area every morning. It is not very crowded prior to noon so it is more enjoyable to walk at that time. It is a block off the riverwalk which is also fun to walk. Important to note is that there are many poor street... More

Stayed a block off this street and walked to most of the sites. The restaurants are numerous, varied and the ones we tried were outstanding! We walked by the scenic canals to the beach. The next day we walked to several museums and the performing arts center. This way we did not feel guilty for sampling so many great restaurants.

Las olas is a very nice place to walk around if you like to window shop or even just for something to do on a nice day. Expensive shops but there is plenty to look at.

We enjoyed just strolling down the street and stopping in and browsing in a few of the shops. There are also quite a few restaurants to choose from and don't forget the chocolate and gelato shops.
