Every time I pass by this place is closed. Has a sign out front that says only open two days a week certain hours I don't recall. This place is a GEM! The history is rich! I think I know the people involved but they travel a great deal unless I am mistaken. Easy to find if you get off Florida Turnpike in Florida city and go west on palm drive then make a right and go north on Krome ave (SR 997) for 1/4 mile or so going toward the entrance to Cracker Barrell. Ask the people questions as they have a rich story to tell of south florida life. Also go north to visit the Homestead Museum that is free admission on Krome near Losner Park and the new Homestead police station. If you visit both places you will have many more ideas what to do while in the area. Also see the Seminole Theatre and eat at El Toro Taco and Casita Tejas (305) 248-8224 and Redland Fruit and Spice Park and Everglades National Park before you visit the Florida Keys!…
