Really happy that you enjoyed the photos and history. We agree that our volunteers are the best! Thanks so much for taking the time to so positively review us.
Stop in here and learn a little about the local history. Astronauts, C Lindberg all have something with this town. Find out why no McDonalds, Chick-fil-A or high rise hotels. See pictures and model of the old turnstile bridge and ferry to cross the waterway.

Great place to spend a half day learning the local history and taking in the stories and photos of yesteryear.
It is not the Smithsonian, rather the good old fashioned tell it like it was, in a quaint setting type of motif.

I am going to try and cut and paste times and directions that I pulled from Google maps. If I can't edit them, do take note, that the final right hand turn is onto South Central Ave (Not North as stated in the directions.) Again, I can't vouch for the rest of the directions either, but perhaps other readers will also respond. We are open 10am-4pm seven days a week. Hope to see you at the Museum!
