Our family was traveling from Daytona to St. Augustine and decided to pull over to take advantage of the free parking and the free beach. I'm SO glad we did! This beach was so clean and the sandy beaches were, for the most part very white. The water was a winter, frosty blue (different from Daytona). The nature was gorgeous... More

The boardwalk on both sides of the Flagler Beach Pier is a very nice place for a relaxed and peaceful stroll. It allows an excellent view of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach down below and the Flagler Beach Pier. The boardwalk is also provided with benches for sitting and enjoying the scenario - a sunrise if you prefer!

PRO Narrow beach which wasn't crowded. Free parking is scattered around but a challenge in the afternoon. Beach was quite clean. CON The crosswalk signal where the main rd is never changed and a crowd of people were waiting for 5 minutes, then just dashed across. Having to pay $1.50 per person just to walk on a pier was laughable,... More

Flagler Beach has a little bit of everything... nice restaurants, bars , quaint little shops, yes it is far smaller than Daytona Beach, but it reminds me of Kauai with the beautiful ocean views and the wonderful people that are not in a hurry !!! Great Boardwalk too...

This is a breathtaking place to visit. My boyfriend and I loved it we went back to it several times before we left the area. Very quiet and relaxing.

Great place to walk out and relax. Watch the people fishing or just feed the birds. Lots of places real close to eat at or see.

This pier IS Flagler Beach! There is an entrance fee and you can buy bait and rent poles right there. People have pulled in some large fish - recently a large baracuda! There is a new restaurant, The Funky Pelican, that just opened right off the side of the pier. And beach goers can take a dip on the beach... More

We were just a little skeptical because this pier is not as long as it used to be. A hurricane destroyed part of it a few years back. We had a great time fishing here. We went twice and caught 3 small sharks (largest was 2 1/2 feet long) and a whiting. But we saw someone catch a 38 lb... More
