FIVE STAR DOG RESORT
Aug 2021
Amelia Island is an Island of Dog Lovers! We love our dogs and dogs are welcome almost everywhere. This dog park has a real amazing "swimming" pool. The dogs love it all year here. Its A+ in design and maintenance. Plus, you get to meet all your Amelia Island Neighbors. We live in paradise, and so do our dogs.

Wonderful place for dogs and owners alike. The dogs are all regulars and get along well. The park is kept clean by staff and dog owners alike, and everyone is really friendly. The dogs' swimming pool is beautiful!

Aggressive dogs
Jul 2020
Aggressive dogs, if you have submissive puppy this is not a place to bring your dog to play. I adopted my dog from Nassau Humane Society and received a month free pass to the park. We tried two times thinking maybe my dog needs time to get familiar with place. But each time she was chased, holding under the water and bitten by aggressive dogs. I used a horn to scatter the aggressive dogs. We were reprimanded by the staff for using the horn and told that I made other dogs stressed.
We will not come back, this is for sure.

Your dog will thank you

One of the best dog parks in the country! Friendly people, a pool for the dogs, agility course, tennis balls, chuckers for the balls, toys for the dogs and plenty of room to run.

Bring your pouch for fun and brews

Time for running and water for the pups. Plenty of ‘Rufferies’ to help you enjoy time under shady trees. A bar accompanies the establishment. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly passes...so if you are visiting the beaches or live in the area, join us!!

Every Day Event for Our 3 Dogs
Apr 2019 • Solo
Our dogs love this place. Very dog friendly. There is, however, a morning contingent of "benchers" who ignore their animals, don't clean up after them, and gossip. It's a shame the poor volunteers and staff (and other park users) are left to clean up after them. Not the NHS' fault, but a shame nonetheless. Also, beware, kids under 13 not allowed in the main part of the park.

NOT SAFE FOR PEOPLE
Aug 2018 • Friends
The tiny deck installed for the dogs and their owners is not at all appropriate. This raised deck does not have a railing to assist older or handicapped people and worst of all the management supervisors don't seem concerned at all.
Comments like " It Is what is" or "We carry insurance" or " they should see it's not safe and stay off" are despicable.

Best Dog Park Ever
May 2018 • Couples
I am leery of dog parks- you have to watch carefully to keep your dog safe. On all but one of our visits the people and dogs have been great; if there is an aggressive dog the staff try to address the issue but I don't stick around. This park is very clean and has air horns as a safety feature- when blown staff from the Humane Society next door come running to intervene. There is an application process to ensure that dogs are up to date with vaccinations and the cost is very reasonable, you can choose day, monthly, or annual passes. Hours of admission are generous- they are only closed on Tuesdays for cleaning. The dog bone shaped pool is a great touch and the grooming area makes it more than worth the price of admission. Water bowls and toss toys are available. We are staying a month in a condo here and after long walks on the beach, we use the grooming area to shampoo and dry our Golden weekly to avoid his tendency to develop hot spots. Its truly a model for dog parks everywhere.
