I purposely planned our vacation so we would be here the 2nd Saturday in May knowing that the arts and craft section would also be here.
I gVe it 5 stars even though the two booths I most wanted weren’t there. They had one last time that had large glass jars filled with dried fruits and herbs which you filled with different licquors depending on which one you got and what you were making. Last time I bought the one to make sangria and was hoping to get that again for a gift for someone’s birthday but the booth wasn’t there. I also wanted to buy preserves from Ladybug Gourmet but they weren’t there either. I looked them up and called. The owner explained that they went out of business. I explained how sorry I was as I was hoping to buy a lot for an occasion I explained to her - she said she had a lot of inventory and would bring what I wanted. She met me at the B&B we had stayed out which was so kind of her. I’m sad that a business like this had to close because of COVID. So many have failed and it’s terrible.

Nice market with a variety of vendors. Lots of food/bakery places, artists, and natural food available. Did not think there were as many vegetable vendors as expected for a farmers market. Did not see any citrus vendors. The fresh shrimp place was good as well as local honey.

This is our second visit to the downtown market. On the 2nd and 4th Saturdays there is also a craft market.
Great produce, goodies to snack on, shrimp, bread, etc.
We parked on Alachua St. along with many other cars. All received $25 tickets. The street signage is posted back off the street, facing towards the street...only at the corners...needless to say this is very deceptive. The city of Fernandino Beach made a very good profit today and has quite a few disgruntled visitors to this lovely island.

We came across this little farmers market by accident and loved it. There is an assortment of fresh veggies and fruits, plants, bread, cakes, cookies, pasta, jams and jellies, pickles and fresh shrimp. We stopped and got a bag of oatmeal raisin cookies which were just wonderful. We also bought some homemade pasta and had it for dinner that night - it too was awesome. The seller explained how to cook it perfectly and he also offered gluten free versions of his pasta too. The market is only open 9-1 so be there early if you want the best choice. Live music gives it a relaxed atmosphere and it's location is perfect with shady trees to help keep you cool. Parking can be a little hectic on the main street but there is plenty off the main street if you don't mind a little walk. Some of vendors offer loyalty cards - buy an item ten times and get one free. It is free to enter and well worth a visit.

If you're like me and wish you could stroll through a quaint french village buying fresh produce and sampling delectable morsels from friendly local street vendors then this lovely little market is definitely for you. It's open on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. There's soap, herbs, fresh bread and pastries!Grass-fed beef, fresh veggies and oh-my-tamales that are wonderful! Seriously there are some good eats here!

We loved visiting the Farmer’s Market! There are local farmers and vendors selling their wares. It was evident the locals shop here. You have to find the toffee booth. I think it’s the best I’ve ever had! The fresh strawberries and the bakery items were a meal for us. Look for the harmonica player on his bicycle. Save a dollar to buy a banana from him. He was a sweetheart. We spent about an hour here, walked over to the history museum then finished up with a bit of shopping downtown.

Stopped by this small farmers market on Saturday while vactioning in Amelia Island and I'm glad we did. Easily done in an hour this little gem has plenty of items that were worth picking up. We bought some great tasting peaches, home baked peach bread, and home made pasta. There was some local made cheeses that I wish we could have brought back home.
Local honey, vegtables, fruit, and plants rounded out the offerings.
Prices were fair and you felt that you were helping the local economy rather spending your money on some tee shirt that was made in China.
