My husband and I went for a drink after dinner. The bartender was knowledgable and had a great conversation with us. The place wasn't very busy which surprised me for 8 o'clock on a Saturday, but the atmosphere was nice. There was a brief period of dead air on the jute box but the bartender accommodated that w the chromecast.... More

Bar staff knowledgable about the beers on offer (not always the case !). Sports bar atmosphere with several TV screens offering the Olympics. Pleasant early evening atmosphere. Wine and beer on sale to take away at reasonable prices. Very handy after the shops have shut.

Great local hangout with very tasty. Our bartender explained the brews on tap so we were able to pick a beer that was in out taste range.

Very good place that is popular with the locals. Named after a grateful dead song, the music here is usually top notch. Try the local beers and plan to stay awhile as the people watching is superb

We used to like this place a lot when we first moved here, but management/ownership changed hands and now it feels like every other bar you've ever been to. It's sad because we really enjoyed it as it was before.

I am a local. This bar was great when it first opened. A long wooden bar with brick walls with great beer, great music and great service. Now, this place has no character with terrible service. The bartender is annoyed that she has to serve us because we are interrupting her texting. The music is playing from a jukebox. Sad... More

I was looking for a place to enjoy a night cap before heading to the hotel. Pleasantly surprised at the bar stock. Not an overwhelming place. Great warmly lit. Lots of local people. Loved the beautifully exposed brick. Bar keep friendly and had a pretty varied selection of bourbon and scotch. Music was good. You could have a conversation and... More

Apparently we went at the beginning off their off season so the bartender no longer has to be nice to his customers. There's not many places to grab drinks on the island but I would definitely pick another spot over this one.

We stopped in for a beer in the afternoon. The bartender was a really friendly young woman. Wish I could remember her name. She gave us a couple samples of new craft beers. It was quiet but a nice stop. Wish we had made it in on a weekend night. Next time.

Dog friendly, casual and smoke free bar. Nice dark interior, friendly bar. Taylor was awesome and mixed us some specials including her combo of a habanero beer with cider and a fresh juice cocktail. Looked to have a great liquor selection and some solid craft beers. Definitely returning whenever we come back.
