Where the comfortable corner bar and the artsy wine bar meet
Indigo Alley is where the comfortable corner bar and the artsy wine bar meet. I spent some time here when I was in Fernandina Beach recently and I can tell you that it is a welcoming place for both locals and tourists alike. It has a classy bohemian vibe with plenty of seating (sofas, benches, cafe tables) and room to dance if you are so inclined :) Their calendar seems to always list some sort of entertainment…trivia, jazz, open mic, belly dancing, you name it! Indigo Alley's best feature…the large courtyard in the back. You cannot see it from the street so many people don't even know that it's there. But that is part of its appeal. This tucked away spot in the middle of downtown Fernandina Beach is the perfect place to relax and meet with friends, old and new, on those beautiful Florida nights.

love the people, the place and lovely courtyard
we love going to Indigo Alley. They have great music with different musicians during the week and they have a lovely back courtyard to sit in especially nice during the cooler months. A definite to do item for visitors before or after dinner. They also have an upstairs that you can rent if you have a special occasion.

Where every body knows your name...
Friendly like Cheers, but classier! Indigo Alley is a beautiful little Pub in Downtown Fernandina. If you are looking for the area's most talented musicians, a place where everyone feels comfortable, and an extensive and inexpensive beer and wine selection, this is the place for you!

By far the most comfortable, relaxing and welcoming bar on Amelia Island
Indigo Alley is a hidden gem in downtown Fernandina Beach. Its non-descript exterior barely gives a hint at the beauty within - you must go in to see for yourself! Inside the decor is very much like a coffeehouse with overstuffed chairs, bench seating, sofa, cafe tables and local art on the wall. Depending on the night you may catch an acoustic act, jazz ensemble, female vocalist, blues guitarist or rock duo playing in this front room.

Past the bar is the courtyard which is even bigger than the inside. This was the ideal spot for my friends and I to have drinks the other night on an early autumn evening -- perfect weather, beautiful garden setting and food delivered (ask the bartenders for a menu). And if that wasn't enough, they have a rooftop deck with a clear view of the night sky which in my eyes makes this one of the most tranquil spots on the island -- giving even the beach a run for its money.
