They have everything for everyone for all ages! They have lessons for first timers & their slopes for beginners are awesome! My son totally enjoyed his lesson and I took a lesson myself as well. I just wish they have a family fun area like tubing or toboggan, I'd be happy to pay to use it!

We visited Cardrona for a skiing holiday with friends & had a wonderful time. I'm a novice skier & had lots of opportunities to ski on green slopes. Our friends are experienced skiers & they enjoyed the more challenging runs. The facilities are good & staff very friendly, highly recommended!

On holiday to NZ and staying in Wanaka so we took the drive up to the Cardrona ski fields, our 2 kids ages 9 and 10 took their first timer package, which consisted of 2 hours, half hour lunch break and another 2 hours. It worked out about £60 each for the lessons and boot/board hire which included wrist guards.... More

Took new good skiers to area, they thoroughly enjoyed day. Beginer with us also enjoyed available runs for their level of skiing. Eating are was good but could improve on the squashed area they make and serve coffees.

While grooming is excellent, it is most disappointing that Goldrush, Paradise, Powderkeg and sometimes International are almost exclusively reserved by race teams these days. As these are the best fall lines, we high number of non-racers are excluded and funnelled onto very busy runs all together. The much fewer in number "privileged racers" have unlimited, uncrowded exclusivity. Thus what we... More

Hi Bonnie, We're really glad to hear you enjoyed our grooming, but thought we should explain a little bit more about our ski race lane use. International teams come to Cardrona because it's a great place to train - they're here before the mountain opens at 7.30am, stop training at 9.30am, & are clear of the trail they were using... Loved Cardrona, it had an awesome vibe to it. Snow was world-class, so good the Swiss Ski team were there! Cannot recommend the ski field enough, next time I'd head straight to there from QT. Well worth the stunning drive across the Crown Range, part of the whole experience.
