Tony and Theresa were very knowledgeable about the local birds, plants and flowers. We saw 5 cottonmouth snakes, over 30 alligators and 2 minks. It was a trip to write home about and made our vacation. They provided us with 2way walkie talkies to guide us as we drove deep into the Everglades, then when we arrived they walked us back along a walking trail pointing out all the local wildlife (snakes, gators, minks, birds) and explaining the uniqueness of the various plants and flowers. I learned so much and would love to go on another adventure with Tony and Theresa.

Our guided hike in Fakahatchee Strand with TNT was one of the best experiences of our trip to the Everglades. They are so knowledgeable about the wildlife, the ecology, and the history of the place. We learned so much from them about the orchids and other epiphytes, and it helped us know what to look for when we went kayaking and hiking on our own later in our trip. Bonus: Theresa and Tony are wonderful, friendly, enthusiastic people and we were truly enjoyed spending time with them!

Aawww, thank you so much! We really hit it off and had a great afternoon hiking with y'all for Peter's birthday. We're so glad you enjoyed being immersed in the amazing plant life and learning all about it because we had so much fun sharing it with you both! Theresa and Tony were awesome guides! We called them short notice and they got a plan together quickly for our swamp walk! We ventured through the swamp and saw such beauty! We had to climb a bit of a tree to spot a big gator off in the distance but well worth it. Saw snakes, frogs, fish and when later lots of gators. They were very knowledgeable on all the plants in the swamp. We didn't see any mammals but maybe next time! We definitely want to go back again! They are a great couple and we highly recommend them!

An Everglades wet walk with Theresa and Tony is one of the most amazing experiences you can get in Florida. The Fakahatchee strand is truly a hidden gem, and certainly not easy to explore without an experienced guide that knows not only how to find all the wonderful orchids, but also keeps you in safe waters without gators and gives the right instructions for the swamp walk. Theresa and Tony are so passionate about what they do, you feel every minute how they love the Everglades and how they want you to feel the same. My wife is a biologist and we can honestly say that Theresa and Tony are not only extremely knowledgeable but more importantly can explain all in way that really gets your attention. And there is so much to see in the Fakahatchee, so many rare species. And at the end we saw a cute Florida mink saying us "hi". Truly remarkable memories!

My Guided Fakahatchee Legend Hike/customized/private tour with TNT Explore Nature was the high point of my trip to south Florida. I would never have felt comfortable taking a hike through the Everglades on my own, but TNT Explore Nature made me feel confident and secure wandering through the wetlands and forests there. Theresa and Tony are friendly and laid back. They are passionate and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve and Big Cypress - it is apparent that they spend a lot of time in the area, learning all they can about the plants, animals, insects, geography, and geology there. The tour was informative, yet casual. Theresa and Tony were quick to point out wildlife and plant-life that would be of interest and answered my questions along the way. I will definitely book with TNT Explore Nature again when I am in the south Florida area.

Our hike as a family on the Fakahatchee tour was such a great experience. Touring the Everglades has been on our bucket list for years, and Theresa and Tony went above and beyond to show us Florida's natural attractions. They were extremely knowledgeable about all of the native species that live in the Everglades, both plants and animals. I have 2 children that were with me, one being 16 and the other 9. Theresa and Tony catered the tour to keep the interest of both of them, as well as my husband and I. I cannot thank them enough for making our trip so amazing. I highly recommend using TNT Explore Nature, they are truly awesome!

Three of us, 50 something women, planned a custom tour with TNT. We spent 2 hours on a dry hike and two hours in the slough (wet hike). It was an amazing experience. The plant and animal life is amazing, water so clean, air so fresh. Our guides were very knowledgeable and fun! Don’t hesitate, you will love this adventure.

I called and spoke with Theresa and had a tour on the same day! This was my second tour with Tony and Theresa, and wanted my friends to have a great experience as well. The Falahatchee Strand State Park is a wonderful place to explore, and they are the experts!
If you have the opportunity to go, check them out! They have so many options to tailor the trip just for you.

Teresa and Tony were very knowledgeable about the Everglades, history, ecology, and how it was shaped by man. We were on a walking tour with them, saw 2 deer, 2 owls, 1 tiny snake, lots of alligators, big birds, orchids, and much more. We spent several hours with them, and had a great time. My wife and I were there with our 9 year old son and 16 year old daughter. I highly recommend this tour company for anyone with kids. They talked on all levels, so we were all engaged.

This tour was definitely the highlight of my visit to Florida. Theresa and Tony at TNT Explore Nature provided a unique experience that catered to my party’s level of ability and interest in exploring Florida’s beautiful natural environment. Their expertise and down-to-earth approach made for an informative and relaxing afternoon amidst the flora and fauna of Florida’s Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park. Not your typical Florida vacation day, which was just what we were looking for!
