Air Boat Tour was amazing. We saw hundreds of birds, dear, a raccoon, and lots lots more. We stayed in his camp and he cooked us dinner. We had coffee and breakfast then came back in for lunch before finishing the tour.

Captain Steve's airboat/swap buggy tours was the absolute best thing we ever did. The airboat was so fun and personable and Steve himself was so knowledgeable about the glades that you almost felt like you lived there. We saw Everglades like very few people ever get to see them, all the while he made you feel like family. The next... More

We booked with Captain Steve for both an airboat tour as well as a swamp buggy tour. We started the morning off with the airboat tour through the salt grass marshes and swamps. Before the boat was even in the water the kids were excited to be spotting alligators and as luck would have it we there right in the... More

We reserved a swamp buggy adventure: a family of 2 adults and 3 children comes to 450 dollars. Not cheap, but ok, it is supposed to be wonderful. Then our plans changed. We called him to try and rearrange a date, but he was not available, but, as we cancelled well before the cancellation deadline, he told us he would... More

I am pleased to add my voice to that of the many who have preceded me in heaping praise on Captain Steve (and his intrepid associate, Capt. Otis) for an experience of a lifetime. Despite a bit of filip at the beginning caused by a dead battery--OUR dead battery, not Steve's--causing us to be late for our rendezvous, Steve, ever... More

I learned of Captain Steve and his tours from one who knows the area well. I was assured he would provide a meaningful, safe adventure for a group I was coordinating. From initial contact to the day of Captain Steve and his team were professional, courteous, and entertaining. Captain Steve checked-in with me prior to our group visit to confirm... More

Captain Steve's swamp buggy tour was phenomenal. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and especially concerned about everyone's well being on the ride. Captain Steve's goal of making everyone extremely happy was met with 110% accuracy. He provided a lunch that you would never imagine could be carried out in the middle of the preserve. The entire experience was AMAZING.

The was an AMAZING experience. Our driver and guide, Otis, was an experienced Gladesman and really knew everything you could possible want to know about Big Cypress. I would highly recommend him. When we got deep into the swamp Captain Steve had set up the most wonderful lunch you could imagine. Low country boil with blue crab, crawfish, sausage corn... More
