Mike and Valorie were great boat tour guides! Mike was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife so we also learned a lot on the scenic tour. He also knew how to get the dolphins closer to the boat. Mike knew the dolphins loved...More
Our guide (awesome tour guide Kevin) was a quick wit and a huge amount of fun. The ride lasts about 45 minutes with turtles, gators and plenty of birds to see. After you are treated to one of the park rangers in a cage feeding...More
We went on the 10,000 islands tour with Captain Steve. We had a great time! We saw a few dolphins and some birds of the Everglades as well. The boat was completely covered and very comfortable. The tour lasted 1.5 hours. We chose this tour...More
Arrived at 8.15, as advised for a 9.00 departure ( pre booked ).
The staff were only interested in discussing the staff member who never turned in for work the previous day and that their shift pattern had been changed.
Nobody spoke to us until...More
this was a wonderful tour of the 10,000 Islands. If you are looking to go to through the mangroves this is not the tour. This is the tour to the outer islands. We had 3 dolphins ride the wake during our tour and the guides...More
This reasonably priced tour supports the national park and USA good starting point for the fascinating estuary of Ten Thousand Islands. For an in depth tour I would look elsewhere but Captain Mike and his wife do work hard to give lots of good info...More
I booked the 11:AM, 1.5 hr. 10,000 Island tour for Thursday11/14/18. Booked and paid online, stated that boarding was at 10:30. Had to drive or walk to the ticket office where the woman said that we should hurry because it was leaving at 10:30. The...More
Once you arrive at the park, there's a sign telling you to get your tickets across the street at the Observation Tower.
The boat captain was very personable and shared the stories of the area. On our tour we saw 2 dolphin, we sorta saw...More
We were supposed to go snorkeling in the Dry Tortugas, but weather conditions interrupted those plans. On the way back north, we decided to swing by and take a tour - best decision we made on the trip! Captain Steve and Bridget were engaging and...More

I'd definitely choose the National Park over the commercial boat tours. We chose the mangrove tour over the airboat. It's a quiet little boat, there were only four of us on our tour. We saw manatees, and boating under the canopy of the mangroves was far more interesting to us. The airboat tour is great too, if that's what you're after. commercial boats are not allowed in the National Park so you won't see other boats scaring off the animals. Get up early and go on the first airboat tour. We were told it's the best tour of the day as far as seeing wildlife.
