Tour The Glades is the Only exclusively Private tour operator in the Everglades! Quality instead of quantity is our goal...which means our guests receive 100% of our attention. We can only do one (maybe two) trips per day which makes each one very special. This approach is better for the environment and hands down the best way to explore the Everglades....just you and your own personal guide. We provide tours year round and all excursions are led by Native Naturalist Guides that provide EVERYTHING you'll need. Fresh seasonal fruit, cold bottled water and all the necessities are included. You won't need to purchase any additional items because we've thought of everything! We are priced the same as the group tour companies but only do Private Tours because Private is Best. You are our #1 priority.

With Tod's help, I managed to pack hiking, kayaking, biking, a swamp buggy ride and an airboat ride into a long weekend of great fun. Tod and his staff were super. I just told them what adventures I wanted and they made all of the...More

We took private tours with Tour the glades in two different areas. My niece actually was the only one that did the kayaking. I tried to warn Logan that she would overwhelm him with questions about everything. And no she is not a child. She...More

The highlight of our two week vacation. Family with teenage kids. We selected the company based on the phenomenal trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Early morning kayak trip escorted by Josh was superb: alligators, birds, fish and the astonishing plant life. Seeing all...More

My husband booked this trip before we actually even got to Florida. It was something he wanted to do but I did not. The thought of kayaking anywhere near alligators or any other wild life had ZERO appeal to me. He also insisted that we...More

I did the morning kayaking tour with Josh. It was wonderful. It was just the two of us and we did our best to avoid a group of somewhat loud kayakers with a different company. My goal was enjoying the serenity, scenery and birds. Josh...More

Bottom line: Our kayak tour was a significant highlight of our Florida adventure. The tour was well planned and this included timing, instruction, the dry box, snacks and water as well as the much needed bug repellent. What really made this a great experience though...More

Not sure which was better...day one kayaking with Logan or the 1000 Islands tour with Capt. Darrell. Both were awesome. Was nervous that 3 hours kayaking would be too much for my 11 year old son BUT it was NOT AT ALL. Very doable for...More

My husband and I researched many different tour companies before we visited the Everglades, and while Tour the Glades was a splurge, we knew it would be a home run based on the reviews. And even with high expectations based on glowing reviews, our tours...More

I'm planning to book a tour for my family this upcoming weekend. I just have a doubt... Is it suitable for a 21 months old little boy? Thank you for your attention.

I have a grandson that age. I wouldn't take him. The trip was a couple hours. That is a long time sitting in a kayak for a toddler. Mosquitoes were super thick. Off was effective. Not sure about toddler and Off.
