it is a remarkable place.
first it does not look like much. but the more time you spend there, the more you discover. when the sun goes down, you suddenly get treated with a spectaculair view on krakow. just a great energyspot to visit.

After taking a short walk from Lanckorona village you come to this castle. The site is fairly small, but the ruins are very interesting to wander around. If you fancy a nice lunch or coffee after visiting the castle, there is a very café in the centre of the village.

Lanckorona is inly small but it has an amazing cute square surrounded by wooden houses and ruins of the castle up the hill behind the church. Not a lot left but it is a great small walk up the hill in the forest to see the ruins and also worth visiting Lesny Ogrod cafe (Ayur Garden) on the way down as it offers great coffee and home made lemonade in lovely surroundings.

Lanczkorona is a very nice village to visit on the weekends in the summer and fall. Read up on Wikipedia for its interesting place in history

The ruins of the old castle are not very evident but don't be put off the village is a lovely place. The old square is very well maintained and picturesque. Climb up the hill to the church you will also get a good view of the surrounding countryside.

Really worth a visit if you are in an area. Definitely recommended! Little main square full of little restaurants. Nice travel to the back of time. Worth visiting the museum as well.
