I've volunteered at this wonderful, intimate venue for nine years. It's a warm friendly place with a large following. The shows are excellent and your $18.00 ticket includes refreshments at intermission. A great place to be involved with. Don't miss it!

I love the Playhouse. The performances are always so good. The choice of material is varied. The theater itself seats all of 100 bodies and the stage is tiny, makes for an interesting and intimate evening. Wine and snacks at intermission, and always a 50-50 for their scholarship fund.

As a volunteer, I am entitled to see the dress rehearsal before the Grand Opening, which is tomorrow night (September 7). I (as well as the other volunteers) can bring a guest, so the place was pretty full. I never expected it to be THIS FUNNY!!!! The play is called EXIT LAUGHING, and I am telling you, I have a... Truth be told, I was never that crazy about the movie, even though many people will disagree with that assessment. However, JACK RABITO as Norman Thayer, Jr. is simply fantastic!!!! MAUREEN YOUNG as his wife Ethyl is also very commanding on the stage, and we all know and love BOB LA SALLE, who beautifully portrays Charlie the mailman and old... More

Our beloved Actress and Director Rita Corn was originally scheduled to direct this play, but her untimely death made the saying :THE SHOW MUST GO ON applicable here. Bob La Salle did an amazing job of directing a superb cast, starring Jim Walsh, Kim Fox and Mike Levasseur. "MURDER AT THE HOWARD JOHNSON'S" is a blast from beginning to end.... More

By now everyone knows that I adore the intimacy of this little community theater. What always amazes me is the wealth of talent that we are blessed with and the performances of this latest play is the proof of that once more. Will Horton not only superbly directs, but also stars as the husband in this great comedy. Michelle Neitzel... More

I cannot begin to tell you how lucky we are to have this FABULOUS talent in our own backyard. This latest theater offering is called "GREETINGS" by Tom Dudzick. Very ably directed by Ron Bupp, with a splendid cast featuring Jack Rabito, Jim Walsh, Ian Bisset, Gloria Bandy and Wendi Scianna. It's a Christmas themed play, but it also displays... More

In the downtown section of sleepy Englewood lies this little playhouse. It seats about 100, and it is a small theater, but the entertainment is big. The sound system is good. Even towards the back rows, visability is decent. I will come back again!
