Great farmers market! We always love going when we are in englewood. Sadly, this market has been permanently closed! They are developing the lot that it sets up on and organizers have not been able to find suitable space to move too. Very sad. It was such a well run and delightful market, we will miss it terribly.

Every year it seems as though the Englewood market gets bigger they have wrapped off the sidewalk so the people can’t cross in the middle of the block. I applaud their concern my safety. We are a little disappointed that the coffee people didn’t have Kona every Thursday but hey at least we got to drink it once. Pretty much the only place we like to go to get very fresh fruit of all types recommend the honeybell orangesThey are so sweet. When I asked the bagel guy if he toasted it he looked at my like I’ve grown a third head and said that would be sacrilege :-). Nice to get there early very pleasant people on both sides of the aisle always a good experience

This is a legitimate Farmers Market albeit with some of the standard commercial food and jewelry items mixed in. The market is a decent size covering both sides of 300 W. Dearborne street. Most fresh fruits and vegetables were slightly more expensive than local grocery but you’re usually paying for an organically grown product that is a fresh farm to market vegetable. Coupled with live entertainment it’s a great find. Multiple choices for lunch are available.

My wife and I,accompanied by friends, visited this most excellent market recently. Lots of stalls offering fruits and vegetables, a variety of foods, crafts, jewellery, wellness products, etc. Not a lot of seating available if you wish to sit down to eat. Drop into Rehab on Dearborn: fascinating antique store with all sorts of neat stuff. Worth a visit-on Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

There is still a farmer's market here. The main one closed but there are two more and one has spread out to accept some vendors from the one that closed. Plenty of room still and expect more venders to fill in. Not as big but still worth a stop. Don't let the closure announcement keep you from going. And still plenty of free parking. Only the main intersection is closed but still easy to get to on foot. Plenty to see from produce to crafts to great food and live music. Prices seem fair compared to store and of course fresher. Lots of unique items and foods. Worth a stop.

Being from the north border country next to Canada, I`m not used to the weather down in Florida. I was visiting my sisters family for a week, and my brother-in-law suggested we all go to the market on Dearborn. I enjoyed the booths with everything in produce to fish and even music. What struck me, was the fact I ran into people from parts of Minnesota ans Wisconsin I knew from my travels. BUT....the supposed "Chicago style pizza" is not even close to the real deal in Chicago, but hay, it was Florida! LOL I bought some CD`s from a couple local musicians that were there, and sampled lots of things I am not at all used to. I also bought some nice fresh off the vine fruit for the next mornings "bloody mary".. I saw nothing but happy folks the entire afternoon. I would encourage anyone visiting Englewood to go and experience it. You can bet I will go again the next time I am down that way.

Don't think most have seen fresh produce like this market offers. Unless you have picked from your own garden, Worth going just to see how fresh many items look, especially the herbs. Found some prices fair for such fresh produce but not a bargain.
Many vendors offer such tempting lunch options. No place to sit and enjoy. To perhaps continue on for more browsing.
Parking can be a challenge but with patience will find a spot. Walking is soft surface. Any type of stroller would be tough to navigate. Any items purchased will be hand carried back to parking spot
Suggest a different location with firm ground. Also areas with tables with a chance to enjoy fabulous lunch options

Even though we have been in SW Florida for some time, we have never made it to this market until recently. Very well done and highly organized Farmers Market. It is located on both sides of the streets with plenty of vendors.... of all types.
Vendors were very friendly which adds to the experience. Parking is a little bit of challenge but ultimately you will find a place.
A great experience...we'll be back!

This is a Fantastic Market that me & my friends visit every week. It's located in Pioneer Park (as well as directly across the street) - Not behind Mango's restaurant. From artists to all different kinds of foods, there's something for everyone.

This event is growing! We visited the Farmers Market in Englewood and it was just perfect. The sun was out, the band was playing and the people came.
So many beautiful fruits and vegetables.. bakeries, crepes, breads, olive oil, beach bags, hats, flowers and micro greens.
