This unassuming place next to Swampy's Restaurant is the least expensive place to rent a tube, paddle board or kayak to explore the Rainbow River. You can launch right there or use the shuttle to reach other places on the river. The Rainbow River is one of the most beautiful in Florida. It is cold. clear and full of wildlife. Staff... More

I was totally thrilled with the experience but upon return felt a bit ignored. I was uncertain where to leave the kayak and would have rated the experience a '5' had I gotten a bit more personality and assistance on completion of the journey. Please be aware no alcohol is allowed anywhere on this trip (no coolers with beer, etc)... More

no order whatsoever, stand in random line, no sign with info, as no one there knows the routine. finally paid for 4 for shuttle after 30 min. then on to the next line, in the sun and it was a really hot day. waited for another 45 minutes for ride. squeezed on the bus and then we were brought upstream.... Do not support veterans. Owners exercise poor communication. Husband owner needs some communication training. We wanted to rent a Tandem, when the wife owner offered to take us up the river and drop us off for an additional $10 + $10 entrance fee. She even told us it would take at least 4 hours floating back down. We arrived at... More

The owner of this place shouldn't be allowed to talk to customers. When I called at roughly 1pm, I was told that the last shuttle leaves at 1:30. I asked him if there's anybody else on the shuttle, because it's going to take me 25 minutes to get there and I may be cutting it close. He says "It leaves... More

Got there on a not-too-busy day. Had read reviews from others about the lack of customer service. They were all too true. Accommodations are very poor. The trip was wonderful though!!!!!!! Nice scenery, everyone said "Hello" as they paddled by. The rented equipment was in satisfactory condition. We had five college students and three older adults. We had fun. Not... More

First, the Rainbow River has outstanding scenery and there is no better way to see it than by canoe or kayak on this natural wonder. I'm not sure what it would be like in the summer, but in early November with 80 degree weather it was almost perfect. Very little canoe and kayak traffic on the river so our trip... More

This is a kayak rental business on the Rainbow River. The spot designated by the company to get out of your kayak is extremely slippery and hazardous. My friend slipped, fell into the water and hurt his shoulder. We didn't even bother telling the owner because the help said they'd asked her to improve it, and she didn't care. It... More

This is our favorite thing to do in Florida. Bring your snorkle gear as the water is perfectly clear. The cost is reasonable whether tubing or kayaking. Would have been a perfect experience if the owner (presumed) was not argumentative about everything. The lower section is worth your time but the park does not do the lower. For about the... More

We were so glad that we were able to experience this beautiful river. It is definitely a "Must Do" in Florida. Our's was a group of 12, and they were able to accommodate us with single and double kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The staff was quick and helpful. We did have to wait a short time, but that is... More
