There are no words to describe the majestic beauty here. Come and lose yourself in the scenic views and rushing crashing sounds of the waves. We stopped for an hour and were swept away-- transported through a timeless place into bliss. We will be back to experience this feeling again. Next time I'll bring my chair, umbrella and hat so... $6 seemed like a lot to pay for an hour but the beach is part of a state park. The bathrooms were clean and showers were available to rinse sand off of your feet etc. There is another park west of here that is FREE and has the same amenities without a campground.

It is so nice that Destin left some land to nature to enjoy and for the local wildlife. Walking trails and well maintained. Across street from shopping malls

First off, there is always plenty of parking. You do have to pay a park fee to get in. There are restroom, camp spots, and picnic areas. The beach is always clean. It Doesn't matter what time of year you go, it will always be pretty!

Came out to fly kites for Thanksgiving weekend. Beach was not busy, the wind was perfect, and the water was still warm. Very popular spot for weddings and photography.

If you are in Destin this is the right beach. Plenty of room and great pavilions. The water is great and the beaches are the pure white you can't find at too many other places. I recommend this beach for all families.

This state park is our go to place to swim in the ocean when we visit Destin. It's always been clean and has the white sand beaches that Destin is famous for. Very affordable if you're staying somewhere that doesn't have private beach access.

We come here every time we visit Destin because it's such an amazing public beach Few places like it anywhere. Pristine sand. Not too crowded when we've gone, but it probably gets packed at certain times.

In the middle of busy Destin this is not crowded and is a gorgeous beach and park. We loved the nature trail which wound through the dunes and highlighted the natural setting..
