My daughter had s photo shoot here on spring break. Our friends that live a hour away told us about this wonderful state park. I was so impressed at just how clean and well maintained it was. We were more then happy to pay the $6 to have such a clean & quiet beach. We didn't do the walking trails... More

Park near Pavilion A to avoid the larger crowds. The covered patio is a great plan to have lunch away from the sand. There are also showers near the Pavilion to limit the sand that gets in your car. A beautiful gulf beach experience awaits you for an $8 entry fee.

The beach here is absolutely beautiful and there were very few people visiting. We took the time to hike the nature trail on our last day and it was an easy hike that winds through dunes and allows you to see lots of interesting plants and flowers. Worth the trip over if you have some time to spend.

Visited the Henderson Beach State Park first because we got here early and couldn't check into our room yet. The beach was convenient to parking area. We were able to pull things out of the car throughout the day. We had a picnic on the beach although there were covered picnic areas. There is also a nature trail that we... More

Were there on a sunny day in February. Water was cool but shore covered in fine white sands that were well maintained... no debris. Includes convenient changerooms/washrooms and boardwalk to the beach (two). Ample parking as well

We took pictures here to have a less crowded area. The beaches were kept nicely and was nice to not have a hotel in the background. I think it was $6 for a carload to get in.

Wished the weather would have allowed us to be great! But the park is great! Your receipt upon entry allows you to leave and come back, without having to pay each time..the beach has no rental chairs and umbrellas so bring what you need..

There was a $6 per car entry fee. The nature walk is pretty short and during mid march not a whole lot to see. What we did like about the park is there were bathrooms, covered picnic facilities, showers and it is not as crowded so we had a quieter place to enjoy the beach. Although it was extremely cold...
