Visited Florida for the first time, we went here the first day and Okaloosa Island the remaining day. The water at Henderson beach state park was a lot more clear and clean, it had a larger shallow area, waves weren't as strong making it more fun for my kids. Really nice stretch of beach, worth the $6 admission.

Absolutely loved this beach and its access. Very clean and great value for the family. Even if your at a condo with beach access be sure to give this one a visit.

When we set foot on the beach we knew we had really gone to a very special place. The powder sugar sand is beautiful and being in the park was much less crowded than the beach access by our hotel. We were blessed with a postcard perfect day, but the quality of the walkways, restrooms and picnic areas were excellent.

Didn't mind paying the gate fee since there was plenty of parking, outdoor showers, restrooms and clean everything. The lady at the front gate was so sweet. This is definitely a great place for families to come and enjoy a day in the sun and the sand.

Gorgeous beach! Powder sugar sand and crystal clear water. Very clean. Calm water in the morning and waves to boogie board on in the afternoon.

Great State Park little pricey but worth it. My husband and I wanted to take our son to one of the last untouched wonders of the emerald coast. We saw a lot of wildlife and had a great time at the beach even have restrooms and showers stations to rinse the beach sand off highly recommended for families

Loved spending time at the beach at Henderson State Park. Aside from the darn helicopters that fly over frequently, it was family friendly, not ultra busy, and had nice facilities.

We had family pictures taken here at sunset (between 7 and 8). Location was beautiful and the beach wasn't too crowded for the occasion. Beautiful white sand beach!

Walked over from the Marriott Fairfield hotel to check put the park. About a 15~20 minute walk depending how long it takes you the cross (98) or Emerald Parkway. Rangers in station are super friendly and helpful. $2. For walkers and $6.00 for carload of 6 peeps. Beach is immaculate. Warm super clear water and clean. Showers and bathrooms and... More
