Captain Sean "Crab Daddy"

Captain Crab Daddy (aka Sean) did a great job navigating. We literally flew out of our seats when he guided us up next to a group of dolphins swimming. He has the best ice cream hook up in all of Destin. He was very accommodating and made sure we had a fun time.

There is a big cooler on board with ice, so no need to bring your own cooler and ice. Crab daddy is very familiar with the Destin area and even recommended a place for a wild night of mechanical bull riding YEE HAW

Highly recommend, you will have a blast!

Breath takingly beautiful!

Heard some wonderful things on Georgina "Our boat Captain" so we requested her, and so happy we did. She was very professional at her job, also has a way of making people seem welcomed to come to this area for a vacation spot. She was very good at explaining the history of the surrounding areas, showing us where famous people live in these beautiful mansions, as well as yachts all around, breath takingly beautiful. She was so amazing with the young boy we had with us and took us to an area to go "shelling", he loved every minute of it! She also pointed out some dolphins that were right beside us, it can't get any better then that. We would definitely recommend "Captain Georgina" for everyone coming to visit or vacationing this area, who's wanting to go to "Crab Island"! We couldn't have asked for a better Captain, thanks again "Captain Georgina" for such an amazing time.

Perfect family morning spent on crab island

Perfect. Experienced captain and extremely helpful staff. Had everything we needed. Since there are a lot of inexperienced tourists driving watercraft, navigation can be dangerous. This was safe and fun. Remember that this is a state park and no alcohol is sold, so you have to bring your own!!!

Bob was the BEST.

Bob did everything under the sun to ensure we got to go on the boat to crab island. He was super flexible with scheduling due to potential bad weather. Bob was friendly & offered every amenity you could think of while on the boat. From taking pictures, passing refills on drinks, & making sure we got everywhere safely: highly recommend Bob! Our friend’s bachelorette wouldn’t have been the same without this boat day.

Captain Walt and his crew are the “Go To” team for any Crab Island cruise.

The Crab Island experience is like that at “Party Cove” on Lake of the Ozarks (or any other lake across America), except that the water there is only 3’ deep. Captain Walt and his crew took care of all the details. They staked out our area, provided a sound system (bring your favorite playlist), floating water volleyball court , massive Lilly pads, ran loose security around our perimeter and even set-up a delivery of Pizzas for our lunch. They even made an emergency adult beverage run when our initial supply’s ran low (Rookie mistake).
I can say with certainty that our experience at Crab Island was as good as it gets with Walt and his team handling all the details.

Best Day of Spring Break Vacation

Captain Robbie was professional, knowledgeable and friendly! It was our first trip to Destin and Crab Island and he made it even more perfect by capturing photos and videos of our family to cherish the memories. From all the people who knew him it was evident he is well liked and respected by his peers as well. As a bonus he took us to see a pod of dolphins up close and personal. It was easily the best day of our spring break!

Birthday Cruise

We had the opportunity to go out on the water with Walt, the owner! He was absolutely amazing. From timing when the dolphins would come up to the location to dock in crab island, it was absolutely amazing. Crab island is definitely a must see when visiting Destin! I would definitely recommend crab island cruises with Walt and his team. They work with you and access your needs as well and will customize it for you. For anyone that heard crab island is just a party place, that’s a negative. We went and there were so many families enjoying their time their. Water is beautiful! Thank you Walt! We so appreciate you and your team.

This was our first time in Destin and definitely needed to check out Crab Island. It was hard to find activities that were pet friendly being that it was just me, my husband, and our Maltese. I was a little worried since this was my dog’s first time on a boat, let alone in the water, but Captain Robbie totally put him at ease. My dog didn’t like the water so much lol. Captain Robbie took us on a little tour around the area and we had an amazing time! Highly recommended!!!

Dallas Was Awesome Captain

Our first time visiting Crab Island and it was the best decision ever!! We (my husband and daughters) had a super blast 💥 time at Crab Island. I admit I was hesitant to spend the cost for a private boat captain but hindsight it was truly a great investment! Our captain, Dallas, was awesome!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about Crab Island. We loved the gorgeous emerald waters and white-sand beaches. Dallas took us to Harborwalk and pointed out all the restaurants we had heard about in that area. Dallas was the best and he will not disappoint you!!

We had the best time on our Crab Island Cruise. Capt Chris Bannon was amazing, accommodating, and even took the time to capture some pictures for us. Great family memories were made today.
