This course was a nice find for a last minute tee time. The course was in good shape considering the time of year. The greens were phenomenal in my opinion. They were in great shape and rolled fast and true. Staff was nice to deal with and especially great service from the refreshment cart.

I went june 8 2016 and course met/exceeded all of my expectations. Great value for the money. Not too crowded and fairways and greens both in excellent shape on creek course. The greens on the seminole course were sandy but still rolled true. Would recommend for sure.

I really enjoyed my experience at this course - very friendly staff and the course was fair and play was fast. The conditions and greens were excellent. Will definitely play again when I'm in the area !!!

I play golf all over the U.S. This was by far the worst experience that I have had. The cart boy dropped the carts off at our cars and ran off like his head was on fire. As he's running away, he yells "the driving range is right over there" and proceeds to point us in that direction. Without knowing what else to do, we head over to the range to warm up. As we are walking to the range, this cart boy comes flying up and tells us to check in and then hit the range. No problem, we turn to head toward check in. As we are making our way to the clubhouse, the "club pro", and I use that term very loosely, meets us halfway and proceeds to berating us about going to the range before check in. We tell him his cart boy sent us to the range first and then told us to check in and we were coming to do just that. He then proceeds to tell us that the range was closed. That was news to us!! I tell him his cart boy sent us and he said "not my problem." He said "you drove right past my sign saying the range was closed." I asked where it was and he said "over there", as he points to a 9 inch sign behind a pine tree that no one would have ever seen, and says "I just moved it into the cart path." Glad he moved it after we had already passed it. Our group was scheduled to spend over $400 at this establishment. We left. Worst service I have ever had at a golf course. Don't waste your time, and if you must, I recommend walking into the pro shop and asking the "club pro" to hold your hand as you proceed to make your way across the grounds. I wouldn't come back here if they paid me to play it!

I have played this course in the past very good course well looked after and the best staff in the club house and the very reasonably priced bar. Take time to really look around while you are playing , nature comes into play on every hole. We have seen birds and turtles wild vegetation and overhead you may see a variety obf many mechanical birds

Played in early June. Greens were in magnificent condition! Staff were very friendly. Played all 27 holes in 6 hours. If you're playing in the Destin area, definitely recommend over most others!!

This is a nice inland course in the Destin area. The greens had just been aerated, but still rolled pretty true. We played the "Creek" course and the "Choctaw" course. The Creek had some challenging holes that required accurate yardage and ball placement or it would be lost to the "bayou". I would say most golfers would be able to challenge themselves with this course. Starters were friendly. A little pricey at $65 after 2 pm, but we had the place to ourselves . . . would definitely play here again.

The course was in OK condition with a lot of very tight lies. The greens rolled straight and true and were of good speed. The GPS on the carts made the game more fun but at $83 per round dying the week it was pretty high-priced for its condition.

Played there amongst a host of over-priced beach courses. By far the best rack-rate value you'll find. The conditions are good, not super crowded, and three nines to mix it up. It's a little tight in some places and a few target golf holes, but otherwise it's a great track. So if you want to play without spending and arm-n-leg, it's the place to go.

Way too pricey for what you get. Best greens we played but the rest of the courses condition was not good.

Does Someboy know what kind of Turfgrass has Indian Bayou Golf Club ?
Written April 26, 2017
Indian Bayou has TifEagle Bermuda grass. The greens will be airified next week (last week of April 2017) with small tines and dressed with light sand. The recovery will be quick, about a week or two. Thank you for your question. Let me know if you need any other information.
