Family Owned & Operated Deep Sea Fishing fun for the family with Capt Cliff Cox, the most experienced headboat Capt in Destin. DEEP SEA FISHING in Destin Florida, the World's Luckiest Fishing Village! Sweet Jody is 56 feet and can carry up to 40 people fishing. About Captain Cliff Cox: Cliff Cox, Sr. was born and raised in Destin. As a young boy, he was fascinated with fishing and the work down on the docks. At age 8, he began helping local mates with boat and fish cleaning. By age 12, he was working on various fishing boats and apprenticed under some of Destin’s greatest fishing legends. At age 20, he obtained his Captain's license. Capt Cliff ran several boats in Destin and in Louisiana before buying the Sweet Jody business in the 1980’s. He has been the Captain of the Sweet Jody for 32 years, and has a loyal following of avid fisherman. His excellence in this field has won him the title of Captain of the Year for many years. “My favorite part of being a Captain of Sweet Jody is seeing the smiles of my customers, especially when they catch their first fish or a BIG fish!” –Capt Cliff

Overall a very good fishing outing. It,s easy to be critical, but I hope it will be constructive for the Cap and crew. They put out containers of bait , and it is pretty good bait, but toward the last few stops it is getting...More

Sweet Jody Fishing was an awesome experience! We had a great time fishing and each group on board caught fish. The deck hands were very knowledgeable, patient and eager to help. Highly recommend!

This is one of only three party boat operations that I recommend to people. Sweet Jody is a very well-run boat, with the best skipper in the Destin fleet. I've fished on this boat, with this skipper dozens of times, and I've never had a...More

Not at all like you see on the fishing shows but I loved every minute. I am sure they offer different packages for certain types of fish but the bottom fishing was just great. We caught red snapper, white snapper, strawberry grouper. The staff went...More

I believe it is all rail fishing but the bench is close enough I'm sure they could find a way to make it work. The owner and crew are great and will help where they can.
