We came to Destin for our Honeymoon/my 40th Birthday, and decided to try out the Snorkel tour at Destin Snorkel. We did the 4:30 trip. We found the booth pretty easy, checked I'm at 3:30 due to traffic, came back and got our fins at 4:10, and boarded the boat at 4:20. The captain was super friendly and made sure we had fun, and his helper Cameron was also fun and friendly. We looked for dolphins first, and saw several, then went shelling at a little hettie area, then went shelling on a little beach area, and even had a hermit crab race once back on the boat (then threw them all back in the water) There was good music and the view was just beautiful, and we even git to catch the sun going down. All in all it was a wonderful trip and the price was not terrible ($90 for the two of us for 3 hours) I would highly recommend Destin Snorkel when you come to Destin. We had a blast y'all and Thank You!!

My family took the Dolphin & Sunset cruise onboard the Sand Dollar. We booked with Destin Snorkel. What a great choice. Upon our boat's departure, we headed immediately to the mouth of the bay and within a few minutes, dolphins appeared. Our crew told us that they have seen more dolphins so far this season than in previous times. There were alot of boats out but our crew constantly maneuvered our boat so we could find and see the dolphins. After watching the dolphins, we took in more of the sunset and cruised the harbor. Very nice indeed, Then lastly we cruised past Crab Island and then finally back to the dock. We enjoyed the fantastic views, the efforts of the crew and of course the chance to see Dolphins. The crew provided water and soda. We were able to bring our own cooler with soda and beer as well. (Cans only please). When in Destin, do not miss this cruise. We have plans to take more cruises in the future.Being local helps. We can do the tourist thing any day we choose. Thanks Destin Snorkel for a great time.

My college friend and I decided to just meet at a spot (both from out of state) so we chose Destin. As we walked around planning the day we found a sign with a phone number for snorkeling tours. $45 for three hours with a promise to see dolphins. We hadn't read anything online and we remembered that our waitress from the night before mentioned the company so we called the number. The kind attendant on the phone booked us and answered all my silly questions and gave great directions to find the kiosk to check in. She informed us what time to show up to check in (15 minutes early) and which slip the boat would be leaving from. It is very easy and they provide you with flippers, masks, and snorkels. There is a little store near the boat slips that sell snacks and staff encouraged us to take advantage of that.
The ride was lovely as you could choose to sit in the sun or in the shade. That are padded seats and unpadded seats. They provide bottles of water as part of the fee.
The first snorkeling spot was nice. We saw (non-stinging) jellyfish, other schools of fish, and a sea horse! One guide stayed on the boat while the other went into the water with us and I was happy he explained that the jellyfish do not sting. Is it the best snorkeling in the world? Heck no! But it's Destin, Forlida, not the barrier reef. It was a nice experience (there were many children on our tour) and safe.
We were able to see dolphin and it was exciting as we cruised to our next spot. The guides were great about pointing them out. The breeze was nice and I was never over heated (especially after being in the water) and I really enjoyed just riding on the boat and the sway was very relaxing.
The last stop was to allow participants to pick up shells. My friend and I opted to stay on the boat (we're old and were happy to be mostly dry. We stayed on board and the guides were friendly and chatted with us. The ice cream boat even came by and people were able to buy post-swim treats before we headed back.
Over all, it was a great experience and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I think $45 ($35 for kids) for a 3 hour boat ride is pretty reasonable and I would suggest it to others coming to the area to try it (especially if they have kids).

I reserved a spot for 6 of us to snuba at 12pm, 2 adults and 4 teenagers. When we arrived the lady at the booth was very rude saying we were extremely late and was rushing us to sign papers and try on flippers. Once we got on the boat the time was 12:01 so we weren’t late at all. The woman giving instructions just seemed in a rush and not real happy about her job. Then once in the water the snuba instructor was also rude and was rushing us all. It was all of our first time doing this so I feel like they could have been a lot calmer and not in such a hurry. The camera guy was very polite and friendly really the only staff on the boat that didn’t seem bothered by his job. The trip cost 450$ and then 82$ for a video of our trip. I feel like the video wasn’t really worth the $ and I feel like we were treated rudely because they said we were late even though we were on the boat at 12:01 . We all enjoyed the snubaing and would do it again but probably through a different company.

So Sorry to hear this. We try our best to make sure everyone knows that our check in time is 1 hour prior to departure to make sure everyone has ample time to get checked in, fill our paperwork and get fitted for gear. It's on our website, in our confirmation text, and Email. They also spoke to you several times on the phone and sent texts to try and get you there in time. We worry for all the people who were there on time sitting on the boat, waiting. You see many people sitting on a boat that is not under way get motion sickness and once that starts it can ruin the tour. However, our staff should should never treat anyone rudely, No matter how stressed out they get from all the phone calls, Texts and emails....they have been made aware. Thank you for pointing this out to us.

We had a great time, the cost was inline with the service offered and time spent out on the water the capital and deck hand were tentative and friendly. Cameron was especially tentative with all guests on board, offering water, and lending a hand to board the boat from the shelling and snorkeling locations. We will visit again in the future! Great joy Destin Snorkel!

This was one of the best outings of our trip. We can't thank the two man crew enough. They were kind, courteous, welll trained in safety,, knowledgeable and quick to react when it came to it. My girlfriend snorkeled too far in the wrong direction and Preston immediately reacted properly, professionally, and without hesitation to make sure she was safe as the captain signaled the life guard to come and assist.

Quick thinking and training is what you expect from any crew. But we were able to see it first hand. Thank you Preston and Destin Snorkel. Being able to see a pod of Dolphins made my 13 year olds vacation even more memorable.

We highly recommend Destin Snorkel if you're coming this way.

We went out on the Sand Dollar with Tyson and Shawn and it was exactly what we were hoping for and we would highly recommend using this company. It was myself, my ten year-old son and my boyfriend. None of us are experienced swimmers and we don't like to be in deep water so this was good for beginners. We went on the excursion that took us to the jetty and to go shelling and also to see dolphins. While at the jetty my son was able to snorkel for the first time and was super excited to see all the fish. He found good shells while shelling and the captain was able to find dolphins for us to see. At the jetty we were able to control how deep we wanted to go and it was easy to stay in chest-deep water (for those who, like us, aren't the greatest swimmers) but others were able to go much farther. The boat was comfy. They gave us cold water to drink. They played great music and were friendly and pleasant, asking us many times if we were having a good time. Overall a great experience. Oh and my kid got a kick out of the hermit crab race! Thanks!

We had a wonderful cruise! The captain and crew were great! Our captain stopped at nothing to make sure we could see dolphins and provided us with a beautiful sunset cruise. Definitely on to do list when we come back to the area. Great price, too!

Very disappointed! We booked a dolphin sunset cruise in Destin Florida. We were running a little behind due to traffic, and they called 3 times to verify where we were and if we needed directions. We get there and they tell us it's canceled due to other parties canceling and "not enough people" to go (we had 5 in our group). We explained to them we were leaving to drive home to Ohio in 4 hours and could not reschedule, yet they kept offering another one that started in 2 hours. Since it is on the Harbor walk, we had to pay 10$ to park. They did not offer any customer service, and I asked for them to at least validate our parking since we only parked for this and they would not! Our 3 kids were so upset. Very disappointed in the customer service.

We took the Dolphin Evening Cruise, and had a great time. The Captain and mate were knowledgeable of the waters, and when dolphins were spotted, they slowly spun the boat around so everyone could see. The boat being used had plenty of room, and once underway, there was plenty of room to move anywhere you wished to on the boat to take pictures. At sunset, they maneuvered the boat into the sun, and the Mate took photos of everyone who wished to. As a bonus, we got to visit an area frequented by sharks, and had a chance to see several.
