Overall we had a good experience renting from Boogies. The thing that we feel needs improvement is the time it takes to complete the form and waiver prior to boarding the b oat. The lines were ridiculously long because too many people are trying to complete forms instead of moving to the side and letting the next person go.

We had a family of 5: 2 adults, 2 -16 yr old girls and 1 - 14 yr old boy.
Our kids have never jet ski before, there is a safety video and then the staff go over a jet ski in person and were very friendly and helpful. Our kids are adventurous and love the throttle so going with this guide worked out well for us, as they loved the speed. We spent about an hour in the bay looking at dolphins which the kids loved, then out to ride the jet skis and to experience how much fun they are. We had a blast and the kids were loving every moment. The second part of this ride is fast and great however I do not know or could recommend that it would be good for families with small children.

We are senior citizens and wanted to try our luck with parasailing, I would definitely recommend this activity for anyone. It was a good time (even at 79 years old), but I would suggest that the week after a hurricane is not the best time to go if you are looking for the smoothest ride. All in all it was well worth the time. Give it a try!
The only down side is that after we purchased the SD card of all the photos that were taken, we were not able to open them on our desk top computer when we got home. Our intention was to make a vacation book on Shutterfly, but we will have to find an alternative. If you are planning to do the same, you might consider taking your own camera and have another person on the boat take photos.

HORRIBLE! Absolutely the worst service we have ever experienced while on vacation. Started by we reserved for 10 parasailing passengers yesterday afternoon, well as life happens over night we had two passengers have an emergency and left home early but when we got to the window to confirm booking the employee insisted we had to pay for the 2 absent family members, which was $200. when we made reservations nothing was explained to us that was their policy or documented anywhere. When I left my card info I asked why it was needed employee just stated “oh to hold reservations but we won’t charge you” so I was like ok. Than we make our way to the boat for excursion and the bad morning became worst.. The captain we had he must not enjoy his job! First he was very rude, he started off raising his voice when we tried to explain that one of our passengers was just coming along to be a spectator and the captain insisted that he needed a waiver when the lady at the window stated he didn’t need one. After all that was cleared he continued to curse using profanity while we all sat in shock and disbelief. He than asked to be cleared to take off and whom ever was on the other side said “no wait 5 mins” he replied “are you F**** kidding me” she than laughed and said “no go ahead” he said “it’s about F*** time” the young man who was assisting him was nice and politely gave us instructions. We kindly asked can you please not dip us in the water ( as it was explained to us that it was our preference) this was our last excursion before heading to airport… well the “nice” captain that he was didn’t do as we asked and dip all of us in the water so as we sat in the boat soaking wet and we all got our turn he drove us back to the dock and once we got there captain didn’t say anything and walked off. Well we sat dripping wet until a shop opened in an hour and pay for extra clothes we didn’t plan to buy. I went back to purchase window and spoke with Kaley and explained to her what was our awful experience she stated leave me your name and number and I will have my manager call you. Well 24hrs later no phone call. So beware and ask all the questions before you pay.

I was very disappointed with our experience. We booked the 2 hour tour at 6. We were gone about 45 minutes start to finish due to lightening and rain, which I completely understand…BUT only two checks were offered and since we were leaving the next day this wouldn’t work. We ask for even a partial refund since it was pouring rain and we didn’t get to see anything. We were told no refunds were given if they depart from the dock at all. Even though the ticket says a refund will be given if they cancel. Also, unless you sit in the top you can not hear what is being said.

The location of Boogie’s is very inconvenient for a family planning on spending 8 hours on a boat all day. The parking lot is at the top of a hill which made carrying beach bags, infants, ice chests, inflatables, sand toys etc...down stairs very difficult. The check in process was a mess and took more time then expected and didn’t seem to run smoothly. The boat had torn seats. Also you have to pay another $10.00 to park at this location after spending $600 on a pontoon rental!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We understand how paperwork can be time consuming. You can always fill out your paperwork on our website to save more time for the water! As far as parking goes, unfortunately we are not in control of the Harbor's pricing and location. You will find similar situations all along Destin. However, we feel it is totally worth it to spend your day on the beautiful waters of the Emerald Coast! We hope to see you again soon!

My grandson and I parasailed. We had fun and felt that we were in good hands with the crew.Boogie sports is also the cheapest that we found in the area for parasailing. The only thing was there was no social distancing on the boat. There were 12 parasailing and 2 crew members on a small boat. But other than that, I would recommend Boogie Sports.

I have used Boogies for years for my boat rental of choice while vacationing in Destin. This trip we decided to try parasailing for the first time and they made my first parasailing experience INCREDIBLE. They truly have the best prices and the most friendly and helpful staff. Shoutout to the best guides, Jace and Alex !!

It was an ok boat ride.
(1) It's 1.5 hour ride, not 2 hours.
Boogies ticketing website says 2-hour boat ride. After I purchased the tickets, I called Boogies to confirm and was told it's a 2-hour ride: leave at 10 and come back at 12. However, we left at 10am but we came back at 11:30am.
1.5 hour ride or 2 hours don't make a big difference but we didn't appreciate the misleading info given twice.
(2) Couldn't hear what the captain was saying during the ride.
During the ride, the captain would give a tour talk which we could barely hear or understand due to the poor quality of speakers + the background noise.
(3) Very bumpy in the mid journey.
Half way of the ride, the boat started to rock really hard and one could get bad sea sick. We overheard that the captain did it on purpose so people wish the ride over sooner. Not sure if it's true or not but the day we went out it was not windy. It felt weird the boat rocked so bad all of a sudden.
(4) Restroom is tiny.
There are both men and women's restrooms but they are really tiny. It's smaller than my camper restroom. I'm grateful there is a restroom LOL A fellow passenger had to use restroom before the boat took off.
(5) Cash bar, small selection
Drinks and snacks have to be paid with cash so make sure you either pack your water and snack or take cash.
(6) It's not Glass bottom; it's glass windows
We are lucky that we got glimpses of dolphins and sharks standing on the deck. Glass bottom is false advertisement. It's the glass windows in the bottom cabin of the boat. Glass is dirty and the water is murky so we saw nothing there.
(7) Close view of blue crab
We checked the crab trap and Rachel got a blue crab out to show the kids and explained, Q&A which was nice.
(8) No need to wait in line early
No one sits in their seat for the whole ride. Everyone moves around so there is no need to wait in line early to get a "good" seat.
All I'm trying to say is the boat ride is alright, not too bad, not too good, it's just average. Do not get your expectations too high. It's just a boat ride and the price is reasonable and the staff is alright.

This is the only place to rent pontoon boats. Staff (Bart in particular) was excellent. Orientation was thorough. All questions answered. The boat was very clean and in great condition. The crew helping us on and off were great. I left a bluetooth speaker on the boat and Bart had it up the pier and to me before I even realized it was missing. I highly recommend this service.

Your advertising says you have wider pontoon ladders, but when I called the girl said she didn’t know. I need a pontoon with a wider and sturdy ladder so it’s easier to get back in the boat. Want to rent this week if you can clarify. Thanks!

They charge by the hour. One jet ski for two people is $80, but you have to have a permit to use. If you don't have one they can give it to you for $3. You read the guidelines then take a 25 question test.

What all do they sell on the glass bottom cruise . Mixed drinks, food,prices?

They had frozen mixed drinks, regular drinks and chips. I think the mixed drinks were $5. Regular drinks and chips were $2.
