Travel to Destin often just to go out on the swoop II. Best service on-board and off. If you have never tried them you should check them out. Devin, Jeff and Max work hard to make sure you have a great fishing trip.

I've fished on the Swoop II many times and have always caught a lot of fish! The crew goes out to catch fish, not to take a boat ride with fishing poles! I've seen seasoned fishermen to people deep sea fishing for their very first time catch good fish for great memories, eating, and for that photo of a lifetime with a big red snapper, grouper, amberjack, king mackerel, mahi, and others! You only need to bring your drinks, snacks, and desire to have fun and you will not be disappointed!! A must do event if visiting Destin and you want to enjoy Destin's amazing fishing! Destin is known as "The World's Luckiest Fishing Village". Sign up and see why!!

I fish a lot & will only fish Swoop II. The Captain is professional & will put you on the fish. The mates work so hard to make sure you have a good day of fishing. They are there for whatever you need. You always catch fish on this boat. The ladies in the booth are just as friendly as can be. Also every trip I meet lots of new friends.

Had a good experience aboard the Swoop fishing for snapper and other species. Deckhands work very hard to make you successful. Devin on our boat was really good. If your looking to do a party boat type trip I would certainly recommend them. They even give you the option to get out with a refund if you think getting sick is a possibility.

Booked a 5 hr afternoon trip for the wife and teenage son. Wanted to go out deep sea, and not hug the shoreline, or inshore fishing. The morning charter was disembarking when we arrived, and the mates were cleaning, filleting, and bagging their catch. They caught a pretty big haul of fish with some wahoos and big snappers. Was very hopeful! The trip out to the 5 fishing spots took about 90 mins. The ship is fast, the ride smooth, the crew was organized and we left on time. The boat holds about 40 people, and we had a full charter it was comfortable, not crowded. Shortly before we arrived, Jeff gave orientation and instructions. The fishing was very good everyone pulled up at least 2 fish. I read some negative reviews about the crew, and you expect at least 1/10 of the reviews being either unrealistic expectations, or fake… But I really liked these guys. They clearly love fishing, and being out there, they were fun. Max and Jeff had their personal tackle stationed next to me, and they’ll hook a bigger fish using live bait, and then have the kids on the boat ‘reel em in’ Max especially loved doing this with the kids. They hooked and reeled 6 big fish (amberjack , black tip shark, and a huge king mackerel had to throw back) the kids. Max and Jeff were running around helping untangle and unhook the fish for everyone, and they making jokes and giving advice the whole time. Nick the captain was trying to keep the boat from drifting the whole time, to keep us over the fish and prevent tangles from the lines drifting. I appreciated how they quietly would do the little things like this. In the End we hooked ~9 fish, including mingos, red snappers, white snapeprs, and the prize a 20 lb snapper Jeff and Max ‘helped’ Connor with, They’ll fillet clean and bag your fish at the end, saving a stinky kitchen mess for a $0.40 a lb. Summary: I’ll go back again. The crew have been there for years, and they work well to provide a great experience. The fishing spots especially the first two were hauling fish! The boat was nice, the ride smooth. Definitely worth it, and it didn’t break the bank. One other note, these guys are seasonal and work on tips… I did the same when I was in college, so please show your appreciation. I saw people dropping small tips for a big party with a $500 bill… I’ve tipped twice as much for an hour long dinner, and these guys are running around for 5-6 hrs in the sun... These guys also love fishing, so if you have fun show you appreciate their effort.
