Crystal Beach Charters operates TWO amazing vessels here at the Destin Harbor! The All IN - a 45ft 1,100 Horsepower luxurious yacht made for offshore fishing and fun adventures in the waters of Destin, Florida, and Double Down our 2018 700 Horsepower 36ft Catamaran fishing machine! Crystal Beach Charters can organize anything from bottom fishing wrecks for Snapper and Grouper, to trolling for Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna. You can also catch Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Triggerfish, King Mackerel and other species that populate these waters. The charter is led by Captains Tim Baxter & Josh Grace who both first came to Destin many years ago on a vacation and never left! From novice to expert anglers he will be there every step of the way to guarantee you get hooked, and bring in the big dinner keepers every time. You will walk home with your bagged fish professionally fillet at the dock. Just bring food and drinks for the day, sunglasses, a hat and positive vibes!

Captain Chris & Dexter provided an amazing 8 hour deep-sea fishing trip for my husband and I. It was beyond on our expectations and such a highlight of our time in Florida. Entertaining, interesting and such a fun experience! If you are looking for a quality experience-I highly recommend Crystal Beach and Captain Chris. We caught our limit, had a beautiful time on the ocean and at the dock they cleaned our fish and we took up to the restaurant nearby for "hook & cook" Will be back on our next trip to Florida to see Chris & Dexter.

Captain Tim Baxter and deck hand Matt were absolutely amazing! Great friendly guys who were helpful, knowledgeable and knew where to catch the fish. We had an amazing 6 hour trip into the gulf and can’t wait to book our next trip. Thank you!!!

My husband loves fishing, it is ALL about fishing. I was to delighted to discover Crystal Beach Charters. This was my first charter fishing trip and the captain and crew made it a great and easy day! I would highly recommended it to novice or experienced fisherman (or women)!

This experience was horrible. The captain decided to let us out in the worst weather with little kids, he never was engaged with the group and never asked us how it was going. The AuSUM boat is very old and smells inside which made it worst with big waves and motion sickness. With the weather, he should have never suggested to go based on having young kids who have never fished. Horrible experience and old run down boat.

Captain Steve and Don took 5 newbies and had us pulling in fish within minutes. Great instruction and knowledge of the ocean and best way to pull fish in. We had a blast and are taking plenty of fish home for a fish fry with a family.

This was one of my best fishing trips. I found The Double Down with capt Tim Baxter online because of the great reviews. The boat is a new 2018 that handled 6ft swells on our trip like a champ. There’s plenty of room for five people and storage space for coolers or anything that needs to be kept dry. Captain Tim was the best captain I’ve ever had the pleasure of fishing with. Tim was on time, knew where to fish and when, helped the deck hand when he wasn’t driving, assisted with any questions we had, was clear with his instructions, and very fluent in every task. All this equals to keeping you reeling in fish and getting more bang for your money! Dane Minnick, our deck hand was awesome. He’s actually the captain of another charter and was working with Capt Tim on our trip. So we had two captains keeping us busy reeling. Dane was easy to get along with, has a good sense of humor, very knowledgeable about fishing techniques, helped us with anything we had, and very fast with the fishing gear and tackle which kept our lines in the water making our fishing trip very efficient. Now to address the part everyone hates, the cost. In my opinion, you get what you pay for. I paid for experience, efficiency, knowledge, laughs, memories, a private trip(just my wife and I had the vessel to ourselves), fun, and most of all a better than average fishing trip. And that’s what I got. Not the normal party boat experience where a single person won’t keep their line tight and it tangles all 20 people on one side of the yacht. Though still fun and cheap, that’s not the way to catch 9 Mahi Mahis like we did on this trip with Tim and Dane. So in conclusion, if the price sways you away, just be sure to bring 5 people and split it. We will be back Tim! And Dane we will not forget you!

Tim and Matt were amazing on board the Double Down. They got us bait and took us right to the spot and put us on the fish. They were beyond helpful and kind in every way shape and form. We limited out on snapper very quickly and had time to troll to catch an amberjack. They were very knowledgeable about everything from which baits to use to when to move spots and giving us pointers on how to catch fish easier. They were quick to bait our poles and get us fishing. The boat (Double Down) was top notch it was very clean, fast, and super peaceful to ride on not making any of us get seasick. If you are going on a fishing charter in Florida you need to use Crystal Beach Charters ( Tim and Matt) it will for sure be the highlight of your trip!!!

We vacation as a family in Dustin. We go for the beach and for the fishing. This year was not a disappointment. We caught several fish and had a great time. We would use this outfit again.
They let my 12 year old son clean a fish- He has completed his boy scout fishing merit badge. Go Micah. :)

Had an amazing day fishing with a friend and our two 11 year old sons. Everything was well organized and taken care of. We caught some great fish, trigger, mingo, and snapper. They cleaned and bagged all the fish and we cooked an amazing dinner that night. It was perfect for both the kids and the adults. Everyone had a blast and I would definitely go out on The Alibi next time we are out in Destin. Thank you to the captain and the crew. Great owners that even came out to great us when we returned for the day.

If you are in the Destin area, this is one adventure you can't miss!! Capt. Steve put our family on the fish! He was so patient and great with the kids! The adults all had an amazing time and we are making this an annual family trip! Can't wait to go again! So worth it!

Thank you for your interest. Our rates are $200hr flat. So a 4 hr trip would be $800 which would come to $265 a person for 3 people. Please give us a call if you'd like more info or want to get on the schedule as we are almost fully booked for the year!
