What more can you say than white soft sand🙌🏽 I always a stop in my travels to and through Mobile & Foley Alabama, it’s close, convenient and it’s kinda like you in the Caribbean just a little. I will be back next year as usual.

Visited this beach with the family, and enjoyed the experience. It was walking distance from our rental apartment. The water was crystal blue most of the time and occasional emerald green. The beach is kept clean.

Spent a couple of hours at this beach for a team building event, while staying at the Henderson Resort (wanted to see a different beach than theirs). The covered pavilion was cool, clean and had a working bathroom and outside shower. Several families lived there...More

The sand is so white and soft, it's like being on a Island in the Caribbean! It was strange the sand did not feel hot, the quartz does something to it and it's like walking in sugar. ! Our section of the beach was calm...More

This is my favorite beach! Our beach house was across the street, so we had wonderful access. I loved spending my days just relaxing and sipping a beverage there. The best!! I cannot wait to return.

Some of the best beaches anywhere. Love the white, fine sand found here. Take sunscreen cause you can get burnt quick.

We have had a wonderful time at this beach. Beautiful sand, beautiful water, and since we've been here, the waves have been pretty active.

I've been to several beaches and this is by far my favorite! I may not come back in September though because of storms but the beach itself is awesome!

Took the children and rented a condo right across the street from it. We loved it! Umbrella and Chair rental, but you can also bring your own canopy if you want to save money.

The short answer is yes and no. Many areas on this beach are private, however there are several public access areas as well. If you arrive early in the day, you can get the primo spot of your choice. Parking is tough at the... More

Crystal Sands Beach (1 Replies)
Hi, We will leave early in the morning from Austin, TX to Destin this weekend. It would take about 11 hrs travel time. We want to know if Crystal Sands Beach has public access (I guess), how late in the day people stay at the beach, and what reasonable hotel nearby we can stay. Thanks,

If you are talking about Crystal Beach, then yes, there are about a dozen public beach accesses.... The biggest of these are Henderson State Park and The access near The Crab Trap.... There are very few hotels in the area, but some nearby, Beachside Inn, Sea Oats Motel, Holiday Inn Express are a couple that come to mind.... The problem that you are going to run into is availability.... This is still our busy season and the area is pretty full! You can stay on the beach all day and...More
