Lake Ida is great for dogs and for fishing. Had a great time and will probably be back. There are some great playgrounds for kiddos and my dog enjoyed it as well. Well kept up and clean. No trash anywhere. Great dock to put in your boat or jet ski. They have great walking paths and the restrooms were super clean. Nice people and everyone was helpful.

I brought 2 small toy poodles for a romp on Mar.1. There are Lots of trees, a Water station, grassy areas, Covered pavilion, benches just to sit to watch the pooches run and play. Totally protected, with gates designed for one way egress. There are separate areas for the smaller pooches (less than 30 pounds) and for the larger ones. Everyone gets along. There is weekly maintenance done.
In addition to the canine areas, there is a playground and numerous pavilions to picnic under. There’s even a boat launch site; Restrooms are reasonably close. All in all, there was a lot of thought given to its construction for maximum use!

This park is not merely for walking your canine friends. It’s a well designed park that anybody can go to and just picnic or relax completely.

The park is great. I bring my 5 year old boy here & he always has a great time. I like the breeze from the lake & I like the variety of things to do here. My friends who have dogs also say they like it- separate sm vs lg dogs. The wash station. Always parking, just a cute park

Loved the dog park. clean, spacious, nice people. BUT, my sister's car got broken into ( the window was smashed in) and they stole her purse 15 mins into us walking the dog there. We also had people walking up to us saying that a similar situation had occurred about three times that week. So this is just a PA to take your valuables with you when you go just as a precaution.

This is a wonderful and well kept park which offers a lot for families. A separate play areas for small, medium and large dogs, a outdoor play area for kids, pavilions, barbecue grills and areas to drop your jet ski or small boat to enjoy the water. My husband and I take our bikes to ride on the path with our dog then walk our 5 pound Yorkie inside the doggie area. She’s loves the atmosphere and to mingle without a leash.

Parks are separated by the size of the dog. Very well kept and there is a bathroom should you humans need one! On the way in there is water with a boat ramp and you can walk the trails or fish off the side! Something for everyone even a playground for the kiddies! Also plenty of restrooms at the park!

They have large and small dog sections; there are always water bowls out, but dogs have been known to get sick--some owners don't pay attention to their dog pooping. They clean it on Thursdays so the best time is Thurs. afternoon/Fridays
