GREAT PLACE!

Most of the people there are very nice - the others just stick to themselves & their dog. The dogs have a ball. My dog is older & was skittish at first, but the other dogs welcomed her & didn’t try to play rough. She now loves to go! The park is very well cared for. Outside of the dogs’ play enclosure, the park itself is very nice. Clean & well kept. Lots of walking paths to take your dog (or family) on walks right along the lake. There is a playground for the kids. There are picnic tables, as well as benches and bathrooms conveniently located.

If you’re in the the area, it’s a great park for dogs & humans alike!

A great park for doggies

I have taken a few of my dogs to this lovely doggie park which opened about 15 years ago. There is no cost unlike the Boca Raton doggie park (unless you live in Boca), but this is a nicer one anyway. The Lake Ida Park is divided into 2 sections--one for large dogs and one for smaller dogs. In addition, there is a 3rd section that is used when the park rotates its sections. There is plenty of room for the dogs to roam and play. There are water fountains for the dogs and gazebos for their owners to sit and watch them. Also, there is a dog washing area for owners to wash their doggies if they get muddied up and dirty. It's a wonderful park that I recommend to one and all.

Great walking trails

Lake Ida Dog Park is a great place to walk even if you don't have a dog. Paved walking paths, lots of picnic areas and parking lots, plenty of clean restrooms, a children's playground and boat launch area as well as contained areas for dogs means that this park has something for everyone. Walk the perimeter path by the lake and view all kinds of water birds including great blue herons.

Lake Ida Great for Dogs and Fishing

Lake Ida is great for dogs and for fishing. Had a great time and will probably be back. There are some great playgrounds for kiddos and my dog enjoyed it as well. Well kept up and clean. No trash anywhere. Great dock to put in your boat or jet ski. They have great walking paths and the restrooms were super clean. Nice people and everyone was helpful.

Great park for canine buddies

I brought 2 small toy poodles for a romp on Mar.1. There are Lots of trees, a Water station, grassy areas, Covered pavilion, benches just to sit to watch the pooches run and play. Totally protected, with gates designed for one way egress. There are separate areas for the smaller pooches (less than 30 pounds) and for the larger ones. Everyone gets along. There is weekly maintenance done.
In addition to the canine areas, there is a playground and numerous pavilions to picnic under. There’s even a boat launch site; Restrooms are reasonably close. All in all, there was a lot of thought given to its construction for maximum use!

This park is not merely for walking your canine friends. It’s a well designed park that anybody can go to and just picnic or relax completely.

We love to enjoy this beautiful area, the trash cans are covered and its right between i-95 and like Ida. It's not too far from our home and its cute

The park is great. I bring my 5 year old boy here & he always has a great time. I like the breeze from the lake & I like the variety of things to do here. My friends who have dogs also say they like it- separate sm vs lg dogs. The wash station. Always parking, just a cute park

Be careful

Loved the dog park. clean, spacious, nice people. BUT, my sister's car got broken into ( the window was smashed in) and they stole her purse 15 mins into us walking the dog there. We also had people walking up to us saying that a similar situation had occurred about three times that week. So this is just a PA to take your valuables with you when you go just as a precaution.

This park is amazing to bring your dog, they can run, play and have a good time and you can also exercise with them. They make good maintenance and is always clean
