We stayed at the Hotel over the weekend for our Daughters wedding. My wife had her family in from Ohio for the wedding so we held a family dinner in the Wine Room for 16 people. My wife worked with Mark and Prescott and they put together a great menu and provided great service, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dinner (and drinks).
We also held a brunch on Sunday for both families and once again, great service, food, Mimosas and Bloody Mary's!
The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. This Hotel is NOT on the beach so no ocean views. Bathroom was nice however only 1 sink.
The only real bummer was, since it was not located on the beach, you had to take their transportation to their Beach Club. The pool was small and my wife described it as "gross", the chairs weren't clean, the restaurant was not crowded but the service was slow and the hostess had a funge face because we had 8 people, it was like an inconvenience to her.
The Beach club is a 5 minute ride from the Hotel and located on the beach which you could see from the restaurant. The beach was your typical South Florida east coast beach.
There was an awesome Pizza place across the street from the Hotel, Pizza Rustica, HUGE single slices, great taste!
The Hotel is on Atlantic Avenue, there are many shops, restaurants and bars along the drag, definitely a cool, trendy vibe!
My sister-in-law and my daughter went to the spa and they said it was awesome, worth every penny spent!
Would we go back?
Sure would!!!

Everyone at the beach club is welcoming and we were never without a cocktail. Chairs were set up for our group, servers attentive, pool if you want it and a lovely restaurant with a view for lunch. Perfect!

If Seagate Beach is referring to the watersports on Delray Beach next to the Seagate Hotel and Beach Club then I rate this experience 5 stars! This is a place you can rent Hobie Cats, and other water sport equipment right on the beach. I rented a Hobie Cat with a captain, and Captain Albert, who owns the watersport company took me out for an hour sail. He was professional and friendly, down to earth, patient and wonderful. I chose the ONE day of my stay in which there was virtually NO wind or current! I paid for an hour rental through the Seagate Hotel and Beach Club, and I with no wind to get us back to shore, I got the added bonus of an extra hour at no charge! It was a beautiful, sunny day, so I got to just relax in the sun on the Hobie Cat deck while Captain Albert gave me the history of the area and surrounding towns, and taught me so much about sailing and water sports in general. He was a fountain of knowledge having been brought up on the water in Delray and having lived there all of his life. I highly recommend taking advantage of this great rental company and spending some time with their knowledgeable employees!

Enjoyed our time here, but the hotel was a little far from the action. You have to walk up a good 5 blocks in order to hit the arts district. The pool a little too overwhelming with kids/families if you like that sort of thing. Not really a hip hangout. More of a country club vibe. Nice rooms. Comfortable.

Great beach. Lifeguards, clean water etc... Not the crazy tourist place like some... Not too crowed but go early for a parking space.

This beach is off the beaten track and not in the mainstream of Delray.. It is not as frequented as the beach down at Atlantic Avenue where there are good restaurants and shops for the locals as well as tourists. Showers are limited and the beach is not as nice or well kept as the beach off Atlantic Avenue.

We enjoyed a great sandwich and drinks poolside. Then we hit the beach lounge chairs for a quiet afternoon. This Delray Beach is beautiful. We enjoyed watching the younger kids navigate those surfy/sail board things! More important, the breeze made it so pleasant. It was a hot day!

We stayed at the superb Seagate Hotel, so that was our incentive to visit.

Enjoy the pleasure of having your own beach cabana for the day along with towels and comfortable beach chairs set up for you by the staff to fit your own style. Group your family all together or get a private corner of the beach to yourself!
Showers are there to remove the sand when finished, followed by a refreshing dip in the beachside pool. Have lunch on the patio in the salt air and enjoy one of the best ceasar salads in town or a cheese burger, made to order. Always a special day at the Seagate!!
