Perhaps the most underappreciated venue in South Florida. It's on the ground floor of a parking garage so, unlike most places down here, you are an elevator ride from the stage. They get an eclectic mix of singer/songwriters, blues, jazz and other genres. Seating is at large round tables of 8 and you'll always meet some nice folks. Bring your own food (who else does that) and buy their moderately priced drinks or wine. Tickets for their 2 hour shows are relatively cheap and you are in the center of the southeast coast's hottest restaurant and bar scene if you want to get there early and eat. Live music seems to be on the wane, but places like this are it's soul.

This was our first time attending an event at the Arts Garage. The Miami Big Sound Orchestra performed and we know one of the musicians. There was a couple, two girl friends, myself, my two kids (20 and 13) and my friends son and his friend (19 and 18) we love music (especially live), we love jazz and our kids are musicians. We knew this evening would not disappoint. The music was phenomenal, the singer's voice was like caramel to the soul. We didn't sit still the entire time, bopping and snaping to the rhythm of the music. This performance is a must see!! Now for the Arts Garage, it was our first time so it was a little crowded when parking, we missed the street for parking garage so it took us a few minutes to get turned around in the traffic however the parking was cheap ($5) the venue is nice! It was a little too warm this evening but bearable. They allowed you to bring food and snacks which was great but you had to buy drinks and cocktails from them which was fine and the upcharge was not much at all. The drinks were delicious. The volunteers for the garage were all friendly and helpful. It was a very clean establishment. Definitely planning to go back again and again. Depending on your budget it could be pricey however we are supporting the arts and it was certainly a great night, well worth it! Time with my friends and family=priceless.

We visited the Arts Garage for the very first time on Sunday to see the comedian Sarge. We have seen him before a few times and he puts on a terrific show. So, the show was great and we and our friends had a pretty great time. The show, I would give five stars. The facility was not what I expected for such a venue. Lots of windows and daylight coming through and the ambience was, well, minimal. It is not stadium seating, so if you have tall people in front of you, seeing may be an issue. For the comedian, it really didn't matter. The seats were really not terribly comfortable. Better cushions would be helpful. Overall, for a non-profit, they appear to be doing a good job but anything to address the seating comfort would be a welcomed addition. The $25 raffle may appeal to some, but I thought it was a bit tacky. I'd rather them ask for patrons to leave any donation they can on the way out. The staff was super nice and you really cannot ask for better than that. These are really minor quibbles, as the show was great and the staff very friendly. We will be visiting this venue again soon. This time, we may bring a portable cushion. I'm sure the show will be spectacular.

Sat front row next to the stage for Jimmy Vivino. I did not know much about him but after the first song and the guitar work between him and Frank Bang I had already gotten my moneys worth. To top off the night Max Weinberg came on stage and played and I’d like to say we are best buds now but I did get to shake his hand and thank him for the many great concerts. He asked what Bruce looks like from the front.
The Arts Garage is fantastic. Great people running the place and the acoustics were great. You can bring your own food, drinks they sell. Check it out for any number of different types of events. Will be going back soon for Frank Bang.

2022 has been a special year for Women in Jazz South Florida at the Arts Garage. On February 5, the Swedish Sensation Gunhild Carling graced the stage and blew the whole crowd away. On March 5, my music was performed by four accomplished vocalist and a great rhythm section and saxophone player. And on May 8, finally, I got to hear and meet the dynamic jazz vocalist from Philadelphia, Denise King who did not disappoint. What a talent! She's got a beautiful voice, marvelous musicians, and great stage presence. A True Diva!

My friends and I had the opportunity to see Kat Riggins and her band on Saturday night at the Arts Garage. We thought Kat was phenomenal and the show was more than exciting. Kat was a ball of raw energy that mad you want to dance along with her as she took command of the audience and the stage. She was so engaging and made the audience feel like part of the show. The Arts garage was a great venue! I loved the intimacy and the staff was very professional and courteous to the patrons.

We walk by the Arts Garage constantly and had never been until recently. I don’t know what took us so long?! It is such a great, intimate venue with so many interesting & talented performers. There’s not a bad seat in the house; comfortable seating at round tables. There is a bar and you can purchase bottles of wine for $40. The atmosphere is relaxed & welcoming. Tickets prices are very reasonable ranging from $15-$50. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & will definitely be returning!

I love good music. Tonight I was able to coax three others into attending a rock review by a tribute band.
This place is cozy! The acoustics are better than at the Broward Center, and the folks there are very friendly.
Check it out. They have something for everyone.
