This is a nice park to walk around and along the Intercoastal waterway. You can park here and walk along Atlantic Ave. as well. This has a playground for kids, benches, and a good viewing place to see the boat traffic sail by.

At Veterans Park there are Art classes and Zumba classes and Folk Dancing classes and more. There's a children's playground that was recently renovated too but this is the place where the only Lawn Bowling Club in Palm Beach County plays. It's the Delray Beach Lawn Bowling Club. Lawn Bowling is confused with bocci by passers bye. It's an old... More

Time and weather have taken it's toll on this park, and the sad part is the city doesn't seem to care . Park slides and facilities were boarded up to prevent injury, the park looked in disrepair. Sad when compared to other parks in the area, especially since it is right downtown.

Very nice grass area park along the inter-coastal waterway. Lots of good places to dine on Atlantic Ave. Benches to sit in the park area. Small area with covering. Can be hot in the open sun.

This park has occasional music entertainment and has a huge playground for the kids. Its close to the water. If you are in delray and want a place to wear your kids out for a hour or two, take them here.

The intracoastal park is a great place to enjoy the South of Florida weather. The kids will love playing on the playground. Also there are often art festivals in the park.

The wooden play structure is a must for visitors to Delray and its just a short walk to shops, eateries and beach. Yoga classes held on site, fountains to make your sunny wish in and history explained. Steps away from Intracoastal and sunsets...a must do on a lazy sunday afternoon.

You can sit and watch pleasure boats go by on the intracoastal waterway. The giant wood playground is a good way to let the kids burn some energy. Boat rides are there on the Lady Atlantic.
